"Stop don't do that! You're gonna drown her!" Kirsten yells at Elene a little too late as Elene jumps into the water right on top of you.

You and your friends were at an indoor water park, you hadn't been to one in a while, but with the convincing nagging of Elene and Kirsten you had decided to go.

Now, you felt yourself sinking underneath the water unexpectedly as Elene jumped onto you, which you weren't prepared for. The water filled your nose, which was an unpleasant sensation to say the least, but thankfully Elene swam off you quickly enough. You resurfaced, your hands reaching up to rub your eyes while a slight stinging sensation developed in your nostrils.

Elene was snickering and Kirsten had just sighed. "Sorry y/n, couldn't resist." Elene says and lets out a small giggle. You splash some of the water at her, shaking your head but not being able to suppress the smile that tugged at your lips.

"You ladies know you can't do that, right? It's dangerous and against the pool's rules." The sudden voice of the lifeguard caught your and your friends attention. You all looked up at him as he stood by the edge of the pool, dressed in the usual red shorts and white tank top, his thumb pointed in the direction of a sign that was attached to a wall not too far away which stated the pool rules. You were about to apologize for Elena's reckless behaviour, but she beat you to it.

"Sorry Mr. Lifeguard, but a few ladies just wanna have some fun, y'know?" She says and pushes some of her wet hair out of her face, shooting a charming smile his way. Usually, her smile surprisingly swooned a lot of people, however the lifeguard wasn't budging. He sighed and rolled his eyes. "I don't think potentially drowning your friend classifies as 'fun'." He says.

The lifeguard then looks over at you. "You alright?" He asks. You nod. "Yeah I'm okay, she does these kinds of things all the time." You say and point at Elene, to which she gives a shrug. The lifeguard nods. "Alright, just don't do it again or I'll have to kick you all out." He says before walking off.

Elene huffs and crosses her arms. "God.. isn't he annoying? It was harmless, not like I'd purposely drown one of my best friends." She mutters and purses her lips. Kirsten sighs and shakes her head while you just let out a small chuckle. "Yeah, but he's just doing his job. I don't think any lifeguard would want someone to drown when it was easily preventable." You say.

"Yeah I guess you're right.." Elene says and nods her head. She then smile and grabs ahold of both yours and Kirsten's arms. "Now come on, let's go onto that twisty waterslide!!" She says excitedly while dragging you and Kirsten out of the pool.

"What movie should we watch?" You ask as you settle onto the couch between Elene and Kirsten, holding your own bowl of popcorn. The pool had been fun, but it closed at 8 pm, so afterwards you had all decided to go to Kirsten's house to stay the night.

"Hmm... how about a sci-fi?" Elene suggests, but immediately gets shut down by Kirsten. "Nope, we're not watching that." She says as he picks up the remote and begins to browse through movies. "It's my house.. so I say we're watching horror." Kirsten says and smirks, knowing that Elene hated it whenever the 'my house my rules' thing got brought up. As such, Elene groans and sinks back into the couch, crossing her arms like an upset toddler who just got denied a toy. You didn't mind horror, you liked it occasionally but it's not like you were a huge fan of it, so to speak.

While Kirsten searched for a good horror movie, you had picked up your phone and put it onto 'do not disturb', and then you had set it face-down on the glass table in front of you. As Kirsten found a good movie and dimmed the lights in her living room, her cat, named Nala, wandered into the room. Nala jumped up onto the couch and settled down on your lap comfortably, her long black tail curving around her body. She had always seemed to like you more than Elene, probably because Elene usually chased her around the house as, what she called, 'training just incase she escapes the house and gets chased by something big'.

Your right hand went to pet Nala's soft black fur while your left hand reached into your bowl of popcorn, bringing some to your mouth. The movie began to play and you had completely forgotten about whatever else that could possibly be in the back of your mind. Tonight was just a night for you to relax and enjoy spending time with your friends.
