Satoru's fingers tapped impatiently against the table. Pointer, then middle, then ring, and then the pinky finger.

His chin rested in the palm of his left hand, a sigh escaping his lips. The restaurant was buzzing with people, mostly couples. This was a high end restaurant so everyone was dressed accordingly, including Satoru. He had on a simple but luxurious looking black suit with a white dress shirt underneath and a red tie. He was waiting for someone, more specifically a woman a few years younger than him. He checked his watch, the time reading 7:25 pm. She would be here any minute.

Then, as if on cue, he heard a voice.

"Hello there, Satoru." The woman say as she sits across the table from him, a charming smile on her lips. She was wearing a long black dress, her cleavage nicely exposed for him to see and her dirty blonde hair curled, but he looked at her face.

"Yes, hello.." He paused, staring at her with a puzzled expression for a moment. "What's your name again?" He asks her. It seems like she did not like his question because Satoru saw a frown flash upon her lips for for a split second before she smiled again and opened her mouth to speak.

"My name is Valentina, the woman your mother wanted you to meet." She reminds him and continues looking at him. Satoru's expression didn't change, his lips were in a straight line and the look in his eyes seemingly one of boredom already.

"Right.." He mutters. He'd much rather be spending this time with you.

Speaking of you, he felt like a dick for lying to you, but he knew that if he had told you the truth then you'd probably freak out on him, and he really didn't want that. He didn't even want to be here with this woman, Valentina, but he had to be. It all circled back to his mother once again.. she was sticking her nose into his love life, trying to force yet another random woman into his life when he didn't want one, he had planned on making you the woman in his life.

He stared at Valentina as she went on about how many great things she's heard about Satoru through his mother, though he knew she was just trying to charm him into believing her by stroking his ego and showering him with useless compliments. He had dealt with this situation very many times before because his mother just doesn't let up. As she drilled on and on, Satoru quickly checked his phone underneath the table, hoping to see some kind of notification from you... however there were none. He frowned a little.

"Are you listening to me?" Valentina asks, her brow raised and her red lips pouting slightly.

Satoru turned his phone off and looked across at her. "No." He says bluntly, which makes Valentina a little surprised. She stares at him and blinks a few times, not expecting him to have been so honest.

"Well, you're certainly blunt, but maybe I'll learn to like it." She says and smirks, trying to flirt. Satoru had the urge to roll his eyes but refrained from doing so, not wanting to come off as too childish with his annoyance.

Oh hell no. That's what crossed Satoru's mind as he heard her words. He might as well get it over with already. "Listen, Valerie, or whatever your name was.." He begins, trying to make himself come across as unlikeable as possible to her. "I'm not interested in you, and I'll never be. You're just another woman that my mother set me up with, and you're not worth my time." He says in the most dull tone possible. He saw her eyes widen and resisted the urge to smirk. "Plus, I already have someone I'm interested in." He adds.

Valentina stares at him, not sure if she should lash out at him or not. "You have someone you're interested in? Your mother didn't mention that." She says, raising her brow and finding herself a bit suspicious of his words.
