His eyes followed you.

The cigarette clenched lightly between his pointer and middle fingers as he held it up to his lips, taking a small drag and letting out a puff of smoke as he sat leaned back against the leather couch of the club he was at, legs spread and one elbow propped up behind him on the cushion.

Satoru didn't know you drank, but seeing you at this club tonight only fuelled his strange attraction to you. Red, the colour of your dress, it suited you so much, he thought. He couldn't help but let his eyes trail down your body and linger on your exposed legs for longer than they should've been.

"How're your students this year?"

A voice brought Satoru out of his little daydream. He turned his head and faced Suguru, his long time best friend. "Oh, you know, the usual bunch, mostly ladies."

Suguru chuckled and took a sip of his whiskey sour. "Yeah? No one stands out to you again? No one at all?" Suguru joked as he leaned back against the couch, crossing his right leg over his left one.

"No." Satoru replied while letting his eyes trail back over to where you stood a few feet away from him, unaware of his presence.

"No one at all."

You weren't a heavy drinker, you drank, yes, but not as much as some of your friends.

So why were you at the club right now? Well, for fun, but also because your friends dragged you here because they said you needed to "live a little".

"C'mon! Take a sip!" Your friend prods as she shoved the margarita up to your lips, smiling widely.

"Okay okay, relax." You say as you take the glass and take a sip. You've always enjoyed margaritas, they were simple but good, and thankfully you knew how to control yourself.. you never liked getting too drunk, the hangover afterwards is always something that you dreaded.

You sipped on the margarita peacefully, your eyes glancing around the club at all of the people. Clubs were never necessarily your thing, of course you liked to go out and have fun from time to time, but you mostly preferred staying in your apartment and, well.. studying or watching something in order to entertain yourself.

If you were being honest with yourself, you were already feeling drained. Loud music, flashing colourful lights and the amount of drunk people all around you was making you want to go home and sleep, it was a Saturday night but you wanted to wake up tomorrow fully rested, not fully hungover.

You sighed. "Hey, why don't we-"

You were suddenly interrupted by your friend, who wasn't really listening to you in the first place.

"Ooooh, there's a hot guy over there!" Your friend says as she quickly fixes her hair and smiles at you. "Ima go over there and strike up a conversation, be right back! Or not!" She says, leaving before you could say anything in return.

Another small sigh escaped your lips, you set the empty margarita glass down on the counter of the bar and then debated whether or not you should stay.. your friend was always getting wasted and you didn't want to leave her alone, but at the same time there were still some of your other friends in the club who were out on the dance floor.. you knew at least one of them would be half sober enough to call a taxi.
