Cassie Perspective

Cassie spent her days in January and the start of February bonding with the twins, learning how to care for them and adjusting to their routines. In the middle of February, Cassie went to the university to get the campus layout and talk to some of the lecturers about her course options. She was eager to get started.

Cassie was relieved when she found out that she could do most of her learning online for the first few months. She also got permission from her lecturers to bring the newborn twins to class with her if she really needed to attend a class. Cassie was thankful for the flexibility the university offered, as it allowed her to continue her studies and take care of her twins simultaneously. Cassie knew that if she needed it, her grandmother would happily watch the twins for the hour or two that she was at the university, allowing her to focus on her studies without any worries.

In her creative writing and music classes, Cassie was able to express all the emotions she had buried after what had happened with Shawn, which resulted in some powerful songs. Through her music, she was able to express so much that she found herself growing and healing. She was thankful for the opportunity to be able to explore her creativity and find a way to express what she was going through in a safe and supportive environment.

Although, in contrast, Cassie found her medical classes to be dry and dull, she had difficulty staying focused and often found her mind wandering to the twins or to her creative writing and music classes. She was aware that these classes were important for her parents, and she wanted to make them proud by doing well. Even though she found the lessons tedious, she still put in the effort to do her best and make the most of the opportunity.

Cassie was relieved to have her grandmother around to help look after the twins while she attended her lectures. As March came around, Cassie started to participate in more classes in person, as the twins were now nearing two months old, and her grandmother enjoyed having them with her. She also found that the in-person experience of attending classes was much more enriching than the online experience, and she was able to connect better with her lecturers and other students.

Cassie was surprised to hear a knock on her door on the 2nd of March. Cassie was overjoyed to see Ed standing at her door with a huge smile. She was so thankful that he had made the effort to come and visit them. She introduced him to the twins, and Ed was delighted to meet them. The twins seemed to recognise their uncle's face and cooed at him when he held them. He was amazed at how much they had grown in just two months.

Ed was so relieved to finally meet his nephews, and he was so proud of Cassie for juggling her studies and taking care of the twins all at the same time. Ed stayed for a few months, during which he helped Cassie with the twins and even took care of them while she attended her classes. Cassie was thankful for the help and appreciated the time she got to spend with Ed. She was glad that the twins got to meet their uncle. Ed was able to help Cassie out with some of her university classes.

Cassie was thrilled to have the support of her new friends in her creative writing and music classes. When Cassie's friends, Crystal, Malcolm, and Caleb, first saw the twins, they were amazed at how tiny and cute they were. They all fell in love with the twins when they first saw them, and all three of them adored the twins and would often come over to play with them. The four of them would often go to the library together and work on their projects while the twins slept in their stroller.

Cassie found it comforting to have her friends nearby while she worked, and it made her feel less lonely. They all formed a tight bond and would often chat about their projects and share ideas while looking after the twins. The four of them had a great time together. Whenever Cassie had time away from her classes, her babies or friends, she would spend it with Ed, helping him write his new album. He was so grateful for her help, as he had been struggling to find the right words and melodies.
