Chapter 10 Shawn 2016-2019

Shawn Perspective

As Shawn left, he felt a wave of guilt wash over him. He had promised himself he wouldn't fall into the trap of being like all other musicians and having sex with women and then leaving without a word. He had failed to keep that promise and was determined to never make the same mistake again. He knew that Cassie deserved better.

On the road, Shawn's thoughts kept returning to Cassie and the night they had shared. He felt guilty for leaving without saying goodbye and knew he should reach out to her, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. He found himself blocking her on all social media and ghosting her phone calls. He was determined to keep his focus on the tour and avoid any emotional entanglements.

Each night on the road, Shawn had a different random woman in his bed for sex, and he loved it. He felt a thrill from the risk of being caught and a sense of pleasure from the temporary companionship. He felt like he was in control and no longer had to worry about making any emotional attachments. He was able to forget about Cassie and focus solely on the music and the tour.

When Shawn arrived in London, he remembered meeting Prince William, Kate, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Zara at Cassie's. He thought that Prince Harry was a friend, so he decided to send tickets and backstage passes to the royal family. He was excited to see them at the next show.

When the show came, only Kate and Prince Harry showed up, much to Shawn's surprise. Everyone else in the royal family had chosen not to attend. Although they were polite to Shawn, it was clear that they all disliked him for some unknown reason.

After the concert, Kate was polite and told Shawn that his music was good, while Harry just glared at him. Shawn could sense the tension between them, but he couldn't figure out why they were so hostile towards him. He was confused and felt a wave of guilt wash over him as he remembered the night he left Cassie without saying goodbye.

Shawn's family was also at the concert, and they were confused by the strange behaviour of the royal family. It was obvious that Kate and Prince Harry were being polite. Still, there was an aloofness in their attitude towards Shawn that made them all wonder what had caused the tension between them.

Shawn's sister suddenly understood the situation, but she chose not to say anything to anyone just yet. She had figured out that the royal family was still mad at Shawn for leaving Cassie without saying goodbye, and she didn't want to make the situation worse. So, she just kept quiet and watched as Shawn interacted with the royal family.

Aaliyah had a revelation and slowly began to realise that Shawn was Cassie's baby daddy. She remembered her conversation with Lee and put two and two together, understanding why the royal family was so hostile towards Shawn. She understood that they were still mad at Shawn for leaving Cassie without saying goodbye, and she was determined to keep this new information to herself in order to not make the situation worse.

She wondered if Shawn had any idea that Cassie was expecting his baby and if he had any feelings of guilt for leaving her behind. She also wondered if the royal family had already told him about Cassie's pregnancy and if that was the reason for their hostility.

Shawn looked at Aaliyah as she watched him interact with the royal family, and he could tell that she was deep in thought. He wondered what she was thinking and why she seemed so serious all of a sudden. Was she trying to figure out why the royal family was acting so hostile towards him? Did she know something that he didn't?

Turning back to his conversation with Prince Harry and Kate, Shawn thanked them for coming, and Kate nodded politely and said it was a pleasure. Prince Harry, on the other hand, stated that he didn't get a choice in the matter.
