I got there, and I sat through a little skit/ worship time. The theme is "Journey off the map" and the motto is, "This is the way, walk in it" And after repeating the motto we sang some songs! We sang 2 songs. The first was called: Journey off the map. So original. I know. The second was: Say yes to VBS. That song. Will get stuck, in your head for days! We sang, "Say ye ye ye yes to vuh vuh vuh VBS!" Over and over!! It is annoying. After, the volunteers like me assembled in a room and we were assigned our first jobs. I got to walk around the church with a stranger. After we finished, we had snack. Yes. Snack. THE FOOD WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! I wanted it all! They had a nacho table! And tiny PB&J sandwiches!! I was in heaven. They had other food of course. After that, I swept. And swept. And swept. Although, I was singing a song, which did help. After that, I walked around with Fab. And finally, we went to the worship center and watched another skit. My old 5th grader teacher for Sunday school was up there! After we sang 2 songs. 1st: Jesus is our guide 2nd: Journey off the map
Then we could leave, so I did.
