--Esmerelda's POV--

"Is it bad I'm nervous?" Nick asks as we sit outside of the airport. His knee has been shaking the entire ride over as he thinks about what's to come.

I put my hand on his leg and give him a reassuring smile, "We are all a call away, no matter how late it is," I tell him as Harry smacks his shoulders from the back.

"I can still come with," he says as Kylie hovers her finger over the ticket confirmation for him.

"No I should do this alone," he says glancing over at me.

Kylie unbuckles her seat belt tapping Harry's side, "We will get your suitcase out," she says as Harry picks up what she's doing. I give her a thankful look in the rearview mirror. When they shut the door he lets out a long groan.

"I don't think I can do this," he says making me want to hold him for hours. He grabs my hand off his thigh and squeezes it as I turn my body in his direction.

"There's nothing wrong with changing your mind. Coming here alone shows how much you care," I assure him, "I can't even imagine what you're going through but I'll be by my phone all weekend," I smile.

He turns his head and looks me in the eyes as he stays silent. A second goes by before he gives me a small smile and unlocks his car door. I watch as he gets out and walks to grab his luggage from Harry and Kylie. I turn the car off and climb out to give him a final goodbye.

"Have a safe flight man," Harry says as he hugs him, their hands patting each other on the back. When they pull away Kylie gives him a hug and it makes my heart hurt. His smile doubles as Kylie says some words I can't hear from her.

When he gets to me I could break down at the look on his face, "Thank you," he whispers as I pull away. He leans down and presses his lips in a passionate kiss against mine. I gasp in shock as he deepens it before pulling away, "See you Sunday," he says with a cheeky smile. I guess that's one way to clear your head.

"Have a safe flight," I grin. He grabs his bag from Harry and starts walking from the parking lot to the terminal.

"That was a pretty relationship-esk kiss," Kylie whispers as she passes me to get back in the car. I can't help the smile that grows on my lips as I watch him walk inside the airport.

"This will be good for him right?" I ask as I get back into the driver's seat.

"He needs this," Harry says getting into the passenger seat, "Plus, his sister will probably freak out when he's finally home," he adds.

"Are you sure you're still up for the party?" Kylie asks as I look at her in the rearview mirror.

"Absolutely. It will be a good way to relax and Nick will be asleep by then," I tell her.

"I think I'm drunk," Kylie yells over the music as she hangs onto Harry's side. A loud giggle leaves my mouth as I lean more into the couch we have been sitting on for an hour.

"I think I am too," I smile as Harry rolls his eyes.

"I wish Nick was here. He can always sober you up," he says looking at me.

"Rude," I giggle as I drink my seltzer, "I should call him," I mumble reaching around and trying to find my phone. Harry steals it from my hand as I get it open with my Face ID.

"Let's not wake him up. He's had a tough day," he says as I frown. I give him a thumbs up as Kylie stands up and starts walking away. He gives me a look and I motion him off to go get her. She's drunker than I am. I can make good decisions. I stand up from the couch and stumble a little at how blurry everything becomes.

"You alright there?" A girl asks as I twist my head around. I give her a thumbs up as she quickly runs over to catch me before I fall, "How about water?" She asks.

"You remind me of my boyfriend Nick," I smile before realizing what I said, "No...no not boyfriend. Put a space between those words," I giggle as she laughs helping me to the kitchen.

"Tell me about your boy friend Nick," she says as she sits me down on the kitchen counter.

"He's like hot. Like really hot," I smile thinking about his smile, "God. He's like my favorite person right now," I confess as she stands in front of me.

"How did you guys meet?" She asks.

"My bestie...who I live with spilled coffee on her now boyfriend...he's Nick's roommate," I explain as she hands me a bottle of water. I struggle to open it before she twists the cap off for me, "They are both British. I love Harry. He's a great guy. He's perfect for Kylie," I tell her.

"Kylie the roommate?" She asks.

"Yes. You're a good listener has anyone ever told you that," I smile. She shakes her head and tells me to drink as I try to continue my story. When I take a big drink I turn to her and forget what I was going to say.

"So other than Nick being really hot...what do you like about him?" She asks.

"He has this mole right above his mouth that drives me crazy. Like I should not find it so hot. He's also like crazy talented but I don't think he realizes that," I ramble.

"Oh, he's a music major?" She asks amused.

"Yeah. We have written together a lot and it's like the words just like flow from my brain," I smile.

"Why is he a boy space friend?" She asks.

"We kind of hated each other for like our entire time of knowing each other. Now I can't get enough of him. I don't even know why I hated him," I tell her.

"He probably feels the same"

"You think?"

"I have a hunch," she says when I see Harry walking over to us.

"HAROLD"

"Please tell me she hasn't puked on anything," he says as I giggle again.

"Hey. No, I got her water and that's about it," she says. I look at the two and furrow my eyebrows when they make small talk. It's like they know each other.

"What's your name pretty stranger?" I ask.

"Taylor"

"I am Esme," I tell her holding my hand out. She laughs as she shakes my hand telling me she's going to go find her friends.

"Have a good night Harry," she says patting his shoulder.

"Do you two know each other?" I ask.

"We met at a party a couple of months ago but not really," he says helping me off the counter. I nod my head and smile as I follow him outside where Kylie is.
