The secret meeting

The new day dawned and the sun's rays filtered through the motel room windows. JJ was the first to wake up and her eyes fell on the note she spotted on the table. With a tingling feeling in her chest, she read the secret message and the time written on it.

Her mind raced as she thought about what the meeting might mean. She felt her heart beating faster and she could barely contain her excitement. However, she decided to keep the news to herself to avoid unnecessary questions and teasing from Penelope or the other team members.

The agreed time finally arrived and JJ made his way to the meeting point. She could hear the pulse in her ears and felt her hands slightly clammy. When she reached the location, she saw Spencer already standing there with a nervous look on his face.

Spencer swallowed hard as he saw her coming. His thoughts were whirling wildly and he tried desperately to find the right words. But when JJ got closer, his breath was taken away. Her smile, her presence, everything was so overwhelming.

"Hey," she greeted him with a smile.

"Hi," Spencer replied, trying to compose himself. "I wanted to talk to you about something important."

JJ looked at him with warm eyes. “I thought so from your message.”

Spencer's eyes widened in surprise. "You... you saw her? Well, I had doubts since you didn't say anything to Penelope or any of the others."

JJ nodded. "Yes. I didn't want to hear any questions or comments from the others, so I kept it to myself."

Spencer felt relieved that she took his feelings seriously. He took a deep breath and was about to speak when his words became a stutter in his excitement.

"Yeah... well... it's just... um... JJ, I..." He trailed off, unable to finish the sentence.

JJ smiled softly and touched his hand. "Shhhh... I understand."

And then something unexpected happened. JJ leaned in and kissed him carefully. The kiss was soft and tender, and Spencer felt his heart skip a beat. When they separated again, he was speechless.

Before he could say anything, Spencer suddenly ran away, his mind confused and overwhelmed by the events. He couldn't believe what had just happened and his head was a jumble of emotions.

JJ watched him go, a smile on her lips as she felt her heart racing. The excitement and uncertainty she had felt seemed to have dissolved in a moment of closeness and connection. And as Spencer ran away, she felt hopeful and excited for what the future could bring.
