As the team worked on the new crime scene, JJ sat intently in front of her laptop as she researched information. She was so absorbed in her work that she barely noticed the conversations around her. Hotch and Rossi had gathered nearby and were whispering to each other while they kept looking at Spencer.
Hotch raised an eyebrow and asked quietly, "Did you see Spencer and JJ kissing yesterday?"
Rossi grinned mischievously. “Yes, that was quite a surprise. I never thought she would show her feelings so obviously.”
Hotch shook his head, but his eyes sparkled with amusement. "I wonder how long they've been keeping this a secret."
Rossi laughed quietly. “Well, they kept their secrets well. But it seems like they’ve finally worked up the courage.”
As they continued to chat about the new development, Spencer became aware that the two men were talking about him and JJ. He sighed and rolled his eyes. “Can you guys stop whispering about me and JJ?”
Hotch and Rossi looked at him innocently, although their eyes sparkled. “We’re just talking about team dynamics,” Rossi said with a mischievous smile.
Spencer rolled his eyes. "Oh God…"
Hotch smiled slightly. “Hey, we’re just curious. But if you want, we can stop talking about it.”
Spencer sighed. “It's okay, I know it's new and surprising to all of you. But could we maybe focus on work again?”
Hotch and Rossi nodded, and as they went back to work, Spencer couldn't help but be amused at how his personal life had become the topic of conversation among the team. Meanwhile, JJ continued to focus on her work, unaware that her teammates had already found out about her romantic moment with Spencer.
