JJ quietly entered her room after talking to Spencer. Penelope was already sitting on her bed, looking at her curiously. "So, what were you doing in Spencer's room?"

JJ sat down on her own bed and sighed lightly. "I wanted to make sure he was okay. He ran away so unexpectedly after I kissed him."

Penelope grinned mischievously. "Oh, so you had a little kiss? That's sweet."

JJ rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, you can stop making fun of it."

Penelope laughed cheekily. "Oh, you know I can't resist teasing you a little. So, how was the kiss? Tell me!"

JJ sighed and smiled slightly. "The kiss was...different. I mean, it's not like I haven't kissed before, but it was still different."

Penelope grinned widely. "Different, you say? I bet he was acting totally crazy."

JJ laughed quietly. "Well, maybe a little bit. But it was still cute. And then he just ran away."

Penelope raised an eyebrow. "Run away? Really?"

JJ nodded. "Yes, really. He seemed completely overwhelmed."

Penelope giggled. "Oh man, that's too good. But seriously, JJ, how does that make you feel? Was that kiss good?"

JJ sighed and leaned back. "He was... exciting. But it also made me think. I mean, we've been friends for so long and now everything feels so different."

Penelope cocked her head. "And how different does it feel?"

JJ hesitated for a moment before finally sighing and admitting the truth. "I think I've fallen in love with him, Penelope."

Penelope looked at her with a warm smile. "That's wonderful, JJ. So you finally realized what had been in the air for a long time."

JJ smiled sheepishly. "Yes I think so."

Penelope stood up and hugged her. "I'm so happy for you, JJ. And I can't wait to support you in this new chapter in your life."

JJ smiled as she hugged Penelope. Her friend's support meant a lot to her, and she felt that she was embarking on this new journey that was full of hope and possibility.
