As though a flip had been switched in her brain, Jennie's eyes suddenly flew open and she quickly pushed Moonbyul away in shock. What just happened? How did she lose control like that?

With no time to think, she immediately grabbed the mop from the closet and slipped out. She then smiled and handed the mop to Lisa just as he reached her.

"Is everything OK? Did you hurt your foot? What took so long?" he asked worriedly.

"I didn't see it even though it was right in front of me," she laughed in a dopey manner.

Lisa gently patted her on the head. He then put the broom aside and carried her in his arms.

"What are you doing?" Jennie asked in surprise.

"I told you to rest your foot," he warned dotingly as he carried her into the bedroom and lay her on the bed.

Jennie lay down and looked up at the man in front of her. Just behind him, she could see the closet where Moonbyul was hiding through the doorway. At this moment, she saw the closet door slowly open.

Moonbyul's head poked out slowly and he looked at her. Their eyes met for a moment, before he ran for the stairs.

"I'm going to go back out and mop the floor," Lisa said as he leaned over and placed a kiss on Jennie's forehead.

Jennie quickly panicked as she hooked her arms around the man's neck. Lisa looked down at Jennie. "What? Do you miss me already?" he teased.

Jennie looked into the man's eyes with slight guilt. Just a moment ago, she was kissing another man in the closet. It was odd. Last time she had a flashback of Sara with Moonbyul, she was completely disgusted by it.

This time, it was just an initial disgust. But, she felt like she lost control both times, even though she had no romantic feelings for Moonbyul. What was wrong with her? Has she been lonely for too long? Was her mind somehow getting confused?

She had to speak to Dr. Li and Eric when she got out of the lab. Could it have something to do with Sara's memories? She even began to question whether her feelings for Lisa were real.

At that moment, Lisa gently brushed a strand of hair out of her face. Jennie felt warm and bubbly inside. It was definitely different to how she felt around Moonbyul. She looked at Lisa and he melted her heart.

These last two days in the lab felt like a honeymoon. They lived together, they ate together, they even slept in the same bed together. It was a short amount of time, but she felt so comfortable with him. She knew at that moment that her feelings were definitely real. She was certain of it.

Behind Lisa, Jennie watched as Moonbyul ran up the stairs. She quickly hugged Lisa tightly. "Thank you," she said.

Lisa chuckled, "For what?"

"For being so honest with me."

Jennie felt bad for hiding so many things from Lisa. She decided, if she successfully prevented him from going to the deal with Niran, she was going to reveal everything to him. But she had no idea that Lisa had his own secrets and already knew everything about her.

He knew her real identity...

...he knew she had been trying to distract him from making the bomb...

...and he even knew that Moonbyul was down in the lab with them...

He was smart and meticulous, that's how he survived in the underworld for so many years, so he noticed a while ago that the closet was slightly open and there appeared to be a person inside.

He also heard Jennie talking to someone when he was in the bathroom and he also heard some strange noises when she went to get the mop. But, who was this man?

As Jennie hugged him, he heard the faint sound of music drifting in from the karaoke bar above. Someone had opened the secret door. It was only for a slight moment before it closed back up again, but he heard it clearly even though Jennie was trying to distract him.

At that moment, Jennie breathed a sigh of relief: Moonbyul was gone...

But, Lisa was beginning to wonder whether this woman truly liked him, or whether everything was just an act...

...

Moonbyul quickly returned to the room where Jisoo and Rosé were waiting for him. When he entered the room, there was an awkward silence.

Rosé's expression immediately lit up as though she had seen her savior. "Are you OK? You were gone for a while," she asked.

Moonbyul quickly grabbed his stomach, "I was a little unwell, but I'm better now."

Rosé immediately shuffled aside and made space for Moonbyul. Jisoo sighed when he saw this. He had noticed that Rosé was acting differently around him since earlier. Was it because of Moonbyul? Or was it because of his involvement with the gangs?

"I'll go heat up your noodles again," Jisoo offered as he stepped out of the room.

As soon as Jisoo left, Rosé turned to Moonbyul and said, "Have you ever been involved with gangsters before, Moonbyul?"

Moonbyul looked at the uncomfortable expression on the woman's face, "Yes, I've met many gangsters before."

Rosé looked at him in surprise, "Do you think I should keep my distance from Jisoo?"

Moonbyul sighed. He didn't know what to say...
