Even though Bambam didn't want it to, the night had to end after the accident at the pool. After all, Jennie was soaked from head to toe and she had to dry off as soon as possible before she got sick. So he took Jennie back to her hotel room and left disappointedly. Why did Jennie back away from him so quickly? Was he that frightening?

Of course, it bothered him a little, but, that wasn't the only thing that bothered him

He was also curious about Lalisa's reaction.

When he watched him attempt to save Jennie earlier, there was an odd vibe to them. It was like they had known each other for a long time. He couldn't hear their conversation, but the look in their eyes was ever so ambiguous. Was he imagining things? After all, Mi-yeon was right there with him.

Was there something wrong with Lalisa? The fact that he suddenly returned was already strange enough.

...

Meanwhile, over in Lalisa and Mi-yeon's hotel room, Mi-yeon finally sat down and got to ask Lalisa what she had been wondering all night.

"You didn't answer me earlier," she smiled as she brewed a cup of coffee. "I saw her bracelet. She's the one right?"

Lalisa went into the bathroom to change into some dry clothes. When he returned, he was drying his head with a towel.

"She's not bad, right?" Lalisa asked with a smile.

Mi-yeon sighed, "What is she doing here? Will she compromise what we are doing?"

"Don't worry, I have a feeling she is here on a mission. She's not going to compromise her own identity either," Lalisa replied.

"Mission? What do you mean?" Mi-yeon asked in confusion.

Lalisa removed the towel from his head and laughed, "Oh, I forgot to tell you. She's an SPU agent."

Mi-yeon looked at Lalisa in surprise. No wonder Jennie hadn't mentioned anything yet.

"Does that mean she knows your identity?" Mi-yeon asked.

"No, I haven't told her anything yet. But, she's already figured out the code on my bracelet, so I'm sure she'll figure out roughly who I am soon," Lalisa smiled.

Mi-yeon sighed and shook her head. Things had gotten a lot more complicated.

"By the way, did you notice anyone following us today?" Lalisa asked.

"No, I didn't see anyone suspicious today," Mi-yeon replied.

"Me neither," Lalisa smirked.

On the first day that Lalisa and Mi-yeon arrived in Incheon, when they first ran into Jennie, someone was watching their every move. Lalisa had spotted the suspicious person as soon as they stepped foot in the casino, so he was extra careful not to blow his cover. When Jennie showed up unexpectedly, he quickly made an excuse to return to his room as soon as possible. He even pretended to kiss Mi-yeon, hoping to put on a convincing show for the mysterious person watching from the corridors. The fact that they weren't followed today meant that their show was convincing enough.

It seemed, they were right to follow the lead in Busan; someone close to Lalisa was definitely after him. Perhaps, they were paranoid that they had been discovered so they sent someone to follow Lalisa and Mi-yeon to make sure Lalisa's cover was true. If they were convinced now, would they attack again?

Since no one followed them today, it was at least a good sign for now. Now that the enemy had their guard down, Lalisa and Mi-yeon could properly delve into their investigation. Who disliked Lalisa so much that they tried to kill him? And for what reason? Most importantly, how did they know that he was back in Thailand and in that safe house? Everything was highly confidential.

No matter who it was, one thing was for sure: this person was definitely rich. Otherwise, how could they afford to hire a top killer like Gogh?

Lalisa didn't want to believe it, but he was beginning to suspect his family members.

...

The next day, Jennie arrived at the VIP room as usual. After all, she had to spend at least two hours there every day. As she walked in, she noticed Thomas and Bambam's uncle chatting secretly in the corner. Jennie quietly snuck over to hear their conversation.

"You didn't tell me that Director Kim and Bambam were so close," the uncle complained. "Did you discuss anything illegal to her yet?"

"No," Thomas replied.

"Good. From now on, only mention legal dealings in front of her and keep a close eye on who she talks to. I don't want word to get back to Bambam about what we're doing here," the uncle whispered.

Thomas nodded his head.

Jennie listened carefully and frowned as she snuck away. She had a feeling the uncle was involved from the start. But, after what she heard, it appeared as though he wasn't just simply involved - he could well be the mastermind behind everything!

So, Jennie quickly sent Moonbyul a message, "Investigate, Everett Pang. He might be our guy."

But, just as she was messaging, someone suddenly snuck up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Why are you acting so secretive here?" a man's voice asked.

Jennie quickly hid her phone behind her back and turned around in surprise.

It was Bambam.

Did he see anything?
