"Mom, g-get up, w-why aren’t you r-replying to m-me? M-Mom?"
Taehyung cried out in sleep. The memories of his mother's death never left him in peace. The sight of his mother in the morgue, wrapped in a white bedsheet still scares him in sleep.

Taehyung got up in his bed. The room was filled up with the slight soft light of the moon coming from the window. He was shivering and whimpering and his fabric t-shirt was all drenched in sweat. In short he was a mess, a total mess. He switched on the table lamp and got up from bed. He looked out the balcony and it was still night. The whole world was in deep sleep. That was the only time to inhale the fresh oxygen for him.

He looked at his necklace and grabbed it tightly.

"Why did you leave me, Mom? I am all alone now. Look at me. I know you're happy there, leaving everything behind. But why so soon?"

Taehyung sighed and walked in the room. He sat on the study table and opened the diary.

'I hope you’re happy, mom. I really do. I know I will be selfish if I ask you to come back. I really miss those blissful days of my life, when I used to live. I miss the vacations on the beach, I miss the kimchi you used to prepare, I miss the sweet voice of you singing me my favorite childhood lullaby, I miss the warm hugs you used to give me when I was hurt. I miss you.'

Taehyung looked at the photo of his mom kept on the study table and laid on the desk. After a while he fell asleep.

"Taehyung! Move your lazy ass! Mom is looking for you. Come and have breakfast." Min Jae shouted.

Min Jae entered Taehyung's room and she saw him sleeping on the desk in front of his mother's photo. Min Jae patted his head and slightly shook him.

"Hey, you okay? Mom was calling you for breakfast."

Taehyung looked at her while squirming. He smiled a little, nodded and wished her good morning.

"Ahh, I am late Jae. Can you help me get ready? I have a presentation today."

Jae happily nodded and started selecting the shirt for him.

When Taehyung went to the dining area, he saw his uncle on the breakfast table. He wished him good morning and sat to have breakfast. Min Jae joined afterwards.

"Dad, I was thinking about getting a job in Tae's company. I am all alone to help mom with the house chores and.."

"I already said no to you Jae. You're not going to work. We don’t allow our omega children to go out of this house to work."

"Dad, I will be safe there. Taehyung will be there with me. Please dad?"

Tae's uncle stood up with rage and shouted, "I said no Min Jae, can't you understand me? Though Taehyung is an alpha, I will not let you go with him outside to work. Don't make me repeat again and again." He left after shouting this and that to Jae.

After hearing his words Min Jae bursted into tears. Taehyung patted his head and looked at his aunt. She was already looking at him.

After breakfast, when Taehyung was about to leave for office, his aunt came out, "I don't know what to do with your uncle. I feel bad for Min Jae. " Both sighed. "And what about you? Are you doing okay now? Don't forget to take the medicine." Taehyung smiled a little, nodded and left for office.

Taehyung was miserably sitting in his small cabin. He still couldn't stop thinking about the words uncle said to Min Jae.

"Taehyung, get the files ready and meet Jin hyung. He was asking me to tell you about the meeting. Taehyung? Are you even listening? "

"Ahh, Jimin! Yeah, yeah I am just going through them."

Jimin is Taehyung's closest among all in the office. He could read the face of the other. He came closer and sat next to Taehyung.

"What happened?"

"Nothing!"

Taehyung could smell the milky sweet essence from Jimin.

The omega smell! Ahh, how sweet!

"How prettily you flaunt yourself as an omega, Jimin! But in our house it's not easy. Uncle shouted at Jae again today and you know why? She was willing to get a job. How cruel of him!"

"Okay, calm down. You want to help Jae? I have a plan!"
