Gia sat in her chair looking out her window. The smile that was etched on her face was contagious because her guards couldn't stop smiling either and they had no idea why. She had said nothing and wouldn't speak until Kenrick got there.

He Was Alive!

Kenrick walked inside her office and stopped right in the middle of the room noticing the weird smiles on Gia's guards' faces. Something was clearly wrong, those men never smiled like that, or at least Kenrick had never seen them smile like that.

"Something happen?" He asked as he walked inside the office after closing the door behind him.

"Kade's alive and Gio has him. He's going to trade him for the organization," Gia said matter of fact knowing Gio's game plan before he even voiced it.

Having grown up with the man gave her an edge that no one else had and that was something she would use to her advantage.

"How do you know?" Kenrick's facial expression was devoid of any feeling.

"Because I know Giovanni, I know how he works and because he referred to Kade in the present tense when he was talking to me." Gia turned in her chair and faced Kade's underboss. The smile on her face transferred onto his own face. He understood now why her men were smiling like idiots.

Gia reached across her desk and took her cell phone off the charging pad and dialed Luka's number.

He answered on the second ring. "Yeah boss."

"I want Anthony here in twenty minutes. Find him and bring him to me." She tossed her phone on top of her desk and turned to face Kenrick. "I want you to get your men and find Kade. Gio has him and the only place he would take Kade is to the tombs," Gia said.

She began to explain what and where the tombs were as quick as she could and watched Kenrick leave her office.

She was sure that she would have Kade by her side no later than midnight knowing Kenrick and the McBane Clan as she had come know them.

The tombs were located out of the city. Donato Drago had them built when he was a young man. The tombs consisted of dark, damp chambers illuminated by torches in the belly of the mountain. It was a great place to keep prisoners, no one but Donato and Bruno knew where the tombs were. Bruno had told her personally on the last call they had shared making sure to stress that she was never to let anyone know that she was privy to that information.

Kenrick and Scott went to the side of the mountain in search of the rock that would slide inwards when pushed on it making a large boulder shift sideways giving them enough room to slip in and out without being noticed. It wasn't as high-tech as it should be, but it got the job done.

Blane and Shawe stayed outside patrolling, making sure that Gio's men didn't suddenly appear out of nowhere. They knew that they had about twenty minutes before all hell broke loose and they were caught. They had to get Kade out fast and make it back to Gia before Giovanni was the wiser.

The sit down had been scheduled for two days from now and time was ticking by faster than they all would've liked.

Kenrick felt the side of the wall pushing in on every rock that might look like the key, but he wasn't having any luck. He called Gia needing her help.

"Are you there? is he alive?"

Kenrick couldn't help but smile hearing worry and excitement in her voice. "No, I can't find the fucking rock," he said exasperated at failing at such a simple task.

"Behind the large boulder, towards the bottom. That's all my father told me. Please be careful, I have no idea what the hell is inside that place," Gia warned.
