Luke

Cassie's P.O.V:

We stood outside Luke's room. I took a deep breath and we walked into his room.

He was asleep and I looked at him. I walked over and sat down beside his bed. I watched as his eyes fluttered open.

" Cassie?" He asked in his sleepy voice.

" Hi." I said smiling.

" What are you doing here?" He asked runbing his eyes with his good hand.

" Visiting you." I said.

He smiled. His behavior reminded me of a little kid which I loved.

" I missed you, you know?" He asked.

We looked at each other. " I know."

" Can I kiss you?" He asked.

Without thinking I kissed him. I broke the kiss and he looked up at me.

" Im sorry." He said.

" I deserve it anyways." I said.

" You don't deserve to be cheated on."

" I do." I said slumping down in the chair.

" Cassie." Luke said grabbing my hand.

I looked at him.

" You don't deserve that. If that happens you deserve a guy that won't cheat on you."

" But I don't know if I'll ever find another guy I like. I might not even try."

" Why?"

" Because I still like you."

" You shouldn't."

" I should. No one else gives me the same feeling."

" What about Chandler?"

" What about him?"

" I see how he looks at you."

" What do you mean?"

" He smiles at the mention of your name. He loves you."

" So?" I asked sitting back.

Luke let go of my hand and placed it on my cheek.

" So. You might like him. But your too scared to know."

" Im not scared."

" Then go out with him."

" No."

" Why?"

I shrugged.

" Please. Cassie. Do it for me."

" Why do you want me to go out with him?"

" He deserves you more than I do. The only thing thats stopping you from liking or dating is me."

" Luke."

" No. Cass. Please. Just try the relationship with him. You may never know. You may end up liking him more than me."

" I don't want to." I whispered.

" I know you don't want to but do it for me. If you don't like the relationship then we might get together again."

" What do you mean might?"

" If me and my......." Luke said before stopping himself.

" Girlfriend." I said standing up.

" Cassie wait." Luke said.

I walked away from him and walked outside. I leaned against the wall on the other side of the hall. Michael walked out.

He pulled me into a hug. " Im sorry I didn't tell you. It slipped my mind."

" Its fine."

" No. Its not."

" Michael. Its fine. I should have guessed."

We sat there hugging each other for a moment. I stood up and looked inside Luke's room.

I walked back in and everyone looked at me.

" Cassie."

" Save it Luke." I said holding my hand up.

" Before you guys leave can I ask you something?"

We all looked at him.

" How are Ashton and Calum?"

I looked over at Tay and Piper.

" Ashton has a broken rib." Piper said.

" What about Calum?"

I started pushing everyone out of the door.

" He's in a coma." Tay said before being pushed into the hall.

I closed the door behind me.

" What was that?" Tay asked.

I shrugged and looked down.

" Calum?" Marie asked.

I looked up at Michael and Tay. They both locked hands and nodded.
