Scared

Piper's P.O.V:

" Tay." Cassie said.

I looked up and Tay was laying down looking at the ceiling. She didn't talk anymore and everyone was getting sader.

" Please talk." Cassie begged.

I rolled my eyes and looked back down at my phone. There was a knock on the door and I looked up right as it opened.

" Hi." Luke and Ashton whispered.

" Nows not a good time." Cassie said gesturing to Tay.

" We just came by to drop food off for......" Ashton said before he realized.

Tay sat up and looked at us. The room got quiet and Tay stood up.
" Tay." Cassie said reaching out.

Tay pushed Cassie's hands away and walked into the bathroom.

" We...I....." Ashton stuttered.

I walked over and put my hands on his chest. " Its fine."

" Is she alright?" Luke asked looking at the bathroom door.

We all turned to look at the door and we got quiet. I heard Tay gagging and I ran over.

" Tay." I said knocking on the door.

I heard her throw up and Cassie ran over.

She started beating on the door. " Tay. Stop throwing up. Its not good for you."

" Move." Luke said pulling us away.

Luke and Ashton moved towards the door and tried to open it my the door knob.

" Tay. Please." Ashton begged.

" Open up Tay!" Luke said beating on the door.

" Go get a doctor!" Ashton said.

Cassie ran away and I stood there close to tears. A few minutes later doctors and nurses ran in. Ashton and Luke were pushed away from the door.

" You need to leave!" A nurse said.

We were being dragged away. Once we were outside of the room I realized what was happening.

" Tay!" I screamed beating and kicking the door.

" Piper." Ashton said.

I continued to beat and kick the door while I was screaming. Ashton pulled me away from the door and we fell to the ground.

Ashton started rocking back and forth with me bawling in his lap.

" Shh. Its ok. She'll be ok." Ashton whispered as she held me close to him.

We sat in the hall for what felt like hours. I finally finished crying and I was sitting beside Ashton with my head on his shoulder. Cassie and Luke were asleep and were cuddled together.

A doctor walked out and I quickly shot up to my feet. " How is she?"

" She'll get better." The doctor said walking away.

I walked in and saw Tay was asleep on the bed. I broke down crying again. Ashton caught me as I started falling.

A few minutes passed and I was sitting down in a chair.

" Go to sleep babe." Ashton whispered.

I shook my head and watched Tay's shallow breathes.

" She's ok." Ashton said putting his hand on mine.

" Is she?" I asked looking at him.

" She'll be okay." Ashton said correcting himself.

" I don't want to go to sleep. Im scared." I said.

Ashton grabbed my hand and our fingers intertwined.

" Why?"

" Im scared she'll have another nightmare. Im scared she'll never get better. Im scared she'll never talk again. Im scared she'll never be herself. Im scared of everything that could go wrong."

" She'll get better."

The room got quiet.

" What else are you scared of?"

" What?"

" Is there anything else your scared of?"

" Us."

" What do you mean?"

" Im scared about what will happen to us. Will we still be going out? Will we break up again?" I said looking up at the ceiling.

" How about we let this all run its course." Ashton suggested.

I nodded and looked at him. " I love you."

He smiled and kissed my forehead. " Love you too."

I smiled.

" Go to sleep now."

I nodded and closed my eyes. I feel asleep faster than I thought I would.
