I Choose You(Slow Updates)

Chapter 1

When the edict arrived at lotus pier. There was no doubt or a discussion on who to send. Jiang Fengmian had tried to persuade his wife not to act hasty and to think it through carefully, but her mind was made up. Finally, after all these years, she can finally get rid of Wei Wuxian. Her husband thinks that she does not know why he is asking her that. She will not let her son marry that useless omega. He will eventually just bring shame to her family. Getting pregnant and then not even knowing who the father is. So it's best that he goes. Wei Wuxian wasn't surprised when he got called into the throne room where the sect leader and his wife were waiting for him. As he stepped inside and made his way towards the front, he saw shijie and Jiang Cheng sitting to the side. He gave them both a soft smile and nodded his head. He stopped in front of the sect leader and his wife and executed a perfect bow.

"Sect Leader Jiang wishes to speak to this one".  Wei Wuxian said.

"Yes A-Xian. As you may have heard. The Imperial Palace had send out a edict to the various sects to send their unmated and unmarried omegas". He said as he looked at the young man before him.

"This one has heard sect Leader Jiang. What is it that you want from this one?". Wei Wuxian asked.

"Well A-Xian as you know A-Li are already engaged and A-Cheng is the future leader. So that only leaves you. Know this I am not please with this decision at all. But we will have to break A-Li's engagement in order to send her. And the Madame thought it would not be fair as the engagement were in place before either of them were born". He said. He could not help but feel sad when he saw the look on his wards face.

"Fengmain stopped dragging this out. Wei Wuxian we will send you instead. You will go to the Imperial Palace to be chosen as a concubine. And if they don't choose you just know here is no place for you here anymore. You will not come back here. Do you understand?". She said.

Wei Wuxian eyes grew wide but he understood completely. She was always looking for a way to get rid of him. And the perfect opportunity had just fell in her lap.

"This one understand completely Madame Yu,  Sect Leader Jiang". Wei Wuxian said with a bow.

"A-Xian I am really sorry that we have to send you away". The man said with sincerity in his voice.

"Sect Leader Jiang need not feel bad. This one understands". He said.

"You can leave and gathered your things. You will leave first thing in the morning". Jiang Fengmian said and Wei Wuxian gave a last bow before he walked out of the hall.

"Mother, father this is not right. Why would you do this to A-Xian. I knew that you hated him mother but I didn't know that you hate him so much. What if he don't get chosen. He is an omega and you practically just threw him out without any protection. I can't believe you. You make me sick". Yanli said eyes full of anger and before her parents could say anything. She turns and walked out making her way towards Wei Wuxian rooms.

"Are you happy now my lady. You got what you always wanted. I just hope that this does not come back and bite you one day". Fengmian said.

"Mother you should be ashamed of yourself". Jiang Cheng said as he stood up and walked out.
Madame Yu sits there in shock. She did not know what to say to her children. Fengmian also stood up and left. Leaving her alone in the throne hall.

He can atleast send a few of the servants with Wei Wuxian. So he went towards the servants quarters to see who he can send with Wei Wuxian.
Wei Wuxian enters his chambers and went to sit on the bed. He was still in shock of what had happened. Not long he heard a soft knock and the door slides open. In came shijie and she walked towards him. Kneeling infront of him tears swims in her eyes looking at the face of the boy she calls brother. Wei Wuxian looked at her and smiles softly.
