Chapter 13

Wei Ying and his two servants were moved into the east wing of the Cold Palace.

They do not push him to talk about what happened to him or anything about his past. The crown prince would come and have lunch and supper with Wei Ying and every time before he left. The crown prince would scent him heavily, making the omega blush like a maiden. But it helps because it makes him feel loved and wanted. Feels like he had come home finally.  Wen Ning would come by and brew him his medicine. The Imperial Physician had sent a message asking if she could come by just to check on him, and he agreed.

Once Imperial Physician Wen entered the room, she was cautious and made sure that her scent was hidden. But Wei Ying greeted her with his usual bright smile.

"Concubine Wei, how are you feeling?."

Imperial Physician Wen asked after Wei Ying waved her over to take a seat at the table.

"I am fine, just a bit tired. The medicine also helps thank you."

Wei Ying answered as he took a sip of tea. Imperial Physician Wen nodded her head when she heard that.

"Wei Wuxian, can you please get undressed and lay on the bed when you're done?"

Imperial Physician Wen said. The name sounded foreign on her tongue, not used to using it.

"Imperial Physician Wen, are you so eager to see me naked. Did you forget that I already have a alpha. "

Wei Ying said as he moved behind the divider to get undressed.

"Wei Wuxian do not talk nonsense. As if I would ever choose you as a mate."

Wei Ying's laughter rang throughout the room.

He said with laughter in his voice as he walked out from the divider and gave her a wink. She huffed, and Wei Ying laughs again.
