Chapter 15

While waiting on the Wei Ying, the crown prince could feel the weight of the Queens eyes on him, and it made him feel like a little child who stole candy and got caught by his mother. He tried not to squirm in his seat and kept his eyes politely down cast. The first prince could see how uncomfortable his brother was under the Queens' eyes and discreetly hide a smile behind his sleeve, but he did feel sorry for his didi because who knew what would happen. Will the queen after meeting Wuxian take him with her to the Celestial Kingdom?. They just don't know.

The Imperial Uncle and Crown Prince were thinking the same thing. The crown prince does not know if the queen will find him a worthy mate or alpha for Wei Ying. What if she does take him away?. What if he won't see Wei Ying again?. He does not think he will be able to handle it.

"I will not take Wei Wuxian away from here or away from you crown prince Lan Wangji. I do not think I have that right."

The queen spoke softly as she looked at the crown prince, who looked up at her a little shock.

"I just want to meet him. Meet my grandson and see for myself if he is fine. I did not come all the way just to hurt him or make him unhappy. I can see that you are worried about my intentions, but just know that they are pure."

The queen continued, and the Crown Prince nodded his head before he spoke.

"Thank you, Your majesty, the queen."

Gratitude and relief could be heard in the crown princes' voice, and the Queen nods her head slightly at the young man.

Eunuch Yichen finally arrived at Wei Ying's residence. Upon getting closer to his chambers, he could hear laughter and battering.

'Ah Concubine Wei's siblings must have arrived.'

He thought to himself when he heard two voices he hadn't heard before. The guards at the door bowed, and he returned it before knocking on the door. The door slid silently open and the servant who opened the door bowed and Eunuch Yichen bowed back before the spoke.

"I am here to relay a message to Concubine Wei from the Crown Prince. It is very important. Could you let him know of my presence please. "

Eunuch Yichen said and the servant stood to the side allowing him to step inside before excusing herself. Telling Eunuch Yichen that she will inform Concubine Wei of his presence. She walked towards where Wei Wuxian and his siblings were. As soon as she stepped inside the room she bowed and Wei Wuxian looked at her with a questioning look on his face.

"Concubine Wei. Eunuch Yichen is here to see you. He said that it was important. "

The servant informs him and waved his hand indicating to let the Eunuch in. He gave his sister and brother a look that says. I wonder what it could be about. But they both just shrugged their shoulders and shook their heads. Hearing approaching footsteps all three stood up and as soon as Eunuch Yichen appeared in the doorway and stepped into the room they bowed and he returned the bow.

"Eunuch Yichen what seems to be matter?."

Wei Wuxian asked as he continues to stand and looked at the Eunuch.

"Concubine Wei forgive this one for the intrusion. But this one was send by the crown prince to escort Concubine Wei to the royal court. It is of utmost of importance. "

Wei Wuxian was confused at his answer. He looked again at his siblings but they just shrugged their shoulders.

"Why?. Did something happen?. Is Lan Zhan fine?. Did something happen to Lan Zhan?."

He asked worry immediately evident in his voice and on his face. But Yanli and Jiang Cheng found it sort of amusing that Wei Ying would assume that something had happened to the crown prince and enduring that his first thought was of the crown prince safety and health.
