The crown prince woke up his usual time at five. He lay in bed as he listened to his mate breathing. His mind wanders back to yesterday and what he saw. The crown prince unconsciously pulled Wei Ying closer to him. His alpha wishes to hurt the one or people who had hurt his mate. He wishes to destroy them. Wash them off the face of the earth, and the Crown Prince agrees with his alpha. He looked down at the sleeping figure of Wei Ying and thought. Who would want to hurt such a beautiful and pure soul. He will protect this beautiful soul with everything in him and fight anyone even if it means he will have to fight them alone to keep Wei Ying safe.
He started to scent Wei Ying heavily, and a purr falls from Wei Ying's mouth, even in his sleep, and it brought a smile to the crown prince lips. The crown prince slowly and carefully slid his arm from under Wei Ying's head before giving one last look at him, making sure that Wei Ying did not wake up. Satisfied that he did not, he stood up and dressed himself. Before he left the bedroom, he pulled the quilt over Wei Ying's whole body and tucked him in before scenting him one last time. He turns on his heels and leaves the bedroom, leaving the door open as he walks out and makes his way downstairs.
The moment the crown prince walked into the living area, Mingxia and Mingzhu and eunuch yichen bowed in greeting, and the Crown Prince nodded his head. The crown prince ordered the two servants to prepare breakfast for Wei Ying. They once again bowed and left. The crown prince turned his attention to eunuch yichen before he spoke.
"Eunuch Yichen, please see to it the east wing of the Cold Palace be prepared for Wei Ying and his two servants. "
"Your Royal Highness, the crown prince forgive this one, but the elders won't be pleased if they found out."
Eunuch Yichen said with concern. The crown prince was quiet for a while before he spoke again.
"I do not care eunuch yichen. I will not leave Wei Ying here alone. I will feel much better if he is closer to me."
The crown prince answers, and eunuch yichen nods his head.
"Will that be all your Royal Highness, the crown prince."
Eunuch Yichen asked.
"No, could you send three guards to call the first prince, Royal Uncle Lan and Imperial Physician Wen, please?".
The crown prince said to eunuch yichen.
"This one will do as your Royal Highness the crown prince instructed. "
Eunuch Yichen said, coming out of his bow.
"Thank you eunuch Yichen. "
The crown prince said, and eunuch turns on his heels and left to forfill the crown prince request. The crown prince watches eunuch yichen leave before the crown prince makes his way back up towards Wei Ying's bedchambers. The crown prince made his way back up the stairs, and upon reaching Wei Ying's bedchambers, he walked inside. He walked through the receiving area and the bedchambers door. Upon entering the bedroom, the crown prince saw that Wei Ying was still sleeping peacefully. The crown prince made his over to the low table that was standing near the window and lowered himself gracefully.
"Wei Ying, what had happened to you during the time that you had stayed at lotus pier. What horrors did you did you had to live through?. Whatever it was. I promise you will never have to go through any pain or face such horrors ever again. I just hope that you would trust me enough and share with me whatever it was that scared and hurt you so much."
The crown prince whispers softly as his eyes stay on the man his heart has chosen for eternity.
"I just hope that my love will be enough for you, Wei Ying."
