chapter 11: party?

lapis/pov

(just so you know I think its Wednesday in the book. I know nobody else is keeping track but I'm saying its Wednesday)

I woke up with peridots arms rapped around me. she was so warm and I felt so peaceful in that moment.

peridot wasn't moving so I assumed she was asleep though I couldn't really tell but I still didn't want to wake her, so I just sat there enjoying her warmth and enjoying the feeling of safety. peridot made me feel so safe, she had promised she would keep me safe. I'm not quite sure how because she's not a vary athletics person but it still made me feel so much safer. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world, I mean how did I pull peridot she's so hot- I mean cute and sweet and just over all perfect. I honestly don't know why she would like an emotional mess like me.

i started to move a little bit and I felt peridot jump a little "o-oh good morning sleepy head" peridot said while letting go of me and sitting up. "I didn't know you were awake"

I sat up too and looked at peridot. she was smiling at me with a vary weak smile, she looked exhausted. "peridot... did you sleep okay? you look really tired." I said to peridot ignoring how she said good morning. "o-oh um of c-course I slept good I uh w-why wouldn't I" peridot explained while stuttering. "peridot. your my girlfriend don't lie to me" I told her with a vary serious face. peridot took a deep breath "lapis. I'm not lying to you, I would never. I love you too much for that." peridot said while looking at me lovingly. I looked back at her and slowly moved my face closer to her face, and she did the same until our lips connected.

our kiss was long and passionate, but something was off about her... her kiss was less passionate than normal.  she looked vary tired and she felt tired too, I didn't want to think she was lying to me but she just didn't seem okay.

"lapis I have to go to classes today. are you going to be okay in here alone?" peridot said while grabbing her bag. "yah ill be fine, ill text you if something happens though." I said. peridot gave me a good bye kiss before leavening.

peridot/pov

I haven't been to class since the whole calling the police thing and I was not ready for it. I took a seat in the back of the classroom like normal. I was ready to pay attention, learn everything, ace the test, and not say a word while doing it. unfortunately the amethyst girl sat next to me today. at first I didn't mind but that was before she started talking "hey, your peridot right? lapis' friend?" amethyst said out of nowhere "um, yes." I replied awkwardly. "right so um, I'm throwing a Halloween party this weekend and you and lapis are totally invited so um I uh hope to see you there" amethyst said while grinning "oh uhh thank you ill make sure to bring that up later" I replied even though there was no way lapis would want to go to that. "sweet!" amethyst said while walking towards her friend who I think was pearl, but I'm not sure.

while i was walking to my next class I couldn't help thinking, I mean why would amethyst invite me to a party? the only time I've engaged with her was when I forgot my keys. you know what is probably because of the whole news thing...

after peridots classes

I arrived back at the dorm and I saw lapis on her phone. I ran up to her and gave her a big hug, at first she was startled but she melted into it. "I missed you so much today" I said while hugging her and smiling "awww peridot I missed you too" lapis said while also smiling. in the middle of our hug she randomly stop hugging me and looked at me, I was looking back at her with a confused face but it soon went away because lapis leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back and it lasted a long time. it was so nice I never wanted it to end, but eventually we had to separate for air. "so did anything happen today?" I asked "no, not really I mostly-" lapis started but was cut of by an alarm on her phone.

we both looked over to see why her phone was going off. I was mostly confused but lapis had a panicked look on her face. "I-It's the jasper alarm... t-today is W-Wednesday" lapis said while starting to tear up "I-I just forgot to turn it off-" lapis said I wanted to say something but she wasn't done "I'm so sorry for crying this I-is just bring back so many things that I just want to leave in the past. I-I just feel like no matter what I do jasper will always be taunting me" lapis was now crying her eyes out. I pulled her into a hug "shh lapis, you don't have to apologize for crying, and I know it feels like that now but everything will be okay I promise" I said while hugging lapis

I sat there hugging lapis for a while, she eventually stopped crying, but now my shirt was wet form her tears "I'm sorry I'm so emotional and hard to deal with" lapis said while still hugging me "lapis... your not 'hard' to deal with and you not emotional, you just have some trauma and ill help you no matter what happens ill always be there for you. I promise" I said to lapis "but-" lapis started but I cut her off "no buts, okay? your not a burden, your my amazing and beautiful girlfriend, who I love so much" "how do you always find a way to cheer me up?!? no-ones ever even tried to cheer me up before" lapis asked. "lapis. I will always be here to cheer you up, also why are you so cute?" I asked trying to lighten the mood. lapis giggled "stop it..."

time skip to night (cuz I want this chapter to be done and I have another book to work on)

lapis/pov

me and peridot watched her cartoon show all night after my alarm thingy went off... I mean that really was an inconvenience because today was actually a good day. "oh lapis I forgot to tell you this girl amethyst invited us to some sort of Halloween party, I wasn't sure you would wanna go though because of everything that's happened" peridot said "a Halloween party?" I asked confused cuz nether of us had any other friends

"yah"

"are you friends with this amethyst?"

"no, I've only talked to her twice"

"then why is she inviting you to a party?"

"I'm not sure I just assumed it was because we were on the news or something" "I totally understand if you don't wanna go"

"no, actually it sounds fun"

"so you want to go?"

" yeah, why not. might be a good chance to leave the dorm"

"heh alright then"

OK CHAPTER 11 IS DONE! NOW EVERONE BE PROUD OF ME!!!!! ANYWAY I HAVE SOME "NICE" PLANS FOR THE HALLOWEEN PARTY SOOOO YOU DEFINITLY WANNA STICK AROUND the next chapter starts at the dorm and it will only be a short amount of time cuz were time skipping to the day of the party and there only going to be at the dorm for a few mins book wise just so I can explain there costumes ANYWAY BYE BYE

also sorry the last two chapters were boring. I promise the next one wont be.
