The Kraken Crisis

After the Texans annexed the Alarunes island into the country, it added more than 200,000 more citizens into the country due to the extreme baby boom that happend with Alarunes with Texan husbands and nonstop intercourse, which led to a minority in the Texan Republic. Essentially speaking, out of the 30.2 Million citizens, Alarunes make up not even more than 0.1% of the population, however though scientists do believe at the average child count per farmer in Alarunes island will probably quadruple in size to around 825,000 by the year 1250.

Also a side note, the name 'Alarune' is actually a butchered simplified word of the species name Alraune, however the reason why Texas adopted the name Alarune is because it's more easy to pronounce. 

Anyway, it was steady sailing for the Texans and people just going along daily lives, and Alarunes even participating in socializing with retail workers as to get used to being in Texas public spaces without their husbands around, but it will be near impossible, but frankly most didn't care. 

However, in the spring of 1210 of April 11th, a surprising thing happend to the Texan coast guard. They were doing patrols around the area until they felt unnecessary cargo holding the ship down slightly, as a result some crew members went to the back of the deck to see what was going on. 

The 3 crew members were stunned to see a woman with an octopus or squid like body and with a crown on her head with a witch hat.

The squid queen or princess was horrified of something and it wasn't the Texan crew members pointing guns, it was something else of an outside threat. The crewmembers convinced the queen squid that they meant no harm, and she came out if hiding in the shadows and she followed the crewmembers to the captains quarters. 

The captain of the coast guard ship Captain Argon Mudge, the man who led the mapping expedition around Alarunes island, saw the desperation in the Octopus woman's eyes, and decided to take pity on her and move her to the Texas coast. 

However, unbeknownst to the Crew, the same thing was happening along the shores of west Texas in the mountains and basins area. The civilians along the beach saw more than 12 dozen octopus or squid women rush out of the water and stopped when they were halted by local police forces.

However, unlike the Alarunes were they had a singular species, the octopus women, later found out to be krakens, had a sub-hierarchy that they needed to know, but eventually will learn it naturally.

With being that said the two types not including the queen were physically different, so it was fairly easy to separate them.

The military by a nearby base also rushed to the scene and held the octopus women at the beach until either the president or senate come to a conclusion.

However though they didn't have much time to think about it when a strange band of women with black clothes with weird sticks came to the area demanding the krakens be returned.

The kraken women soon heard this and immediately started to flee to the Texans military lines and hide in ther armored trucks and cars. 

As for the 3 military units and 12 police units, they decided to help the karkens and fight off the dark males, however it was a battle unlike any they seen for both sides, the mages were dodging bullets while the military and police were dodging fire and poison spells. 

The Texans realized it could be a war of attrition so they needed something to break the 4 hour long stalemate.

One such answer was sitting in the military's face the entire time, which was the Barret 50cal. The army sent their 5 best snipers to far positioned areas to take down the males one by one. As a result the mages found themselves in a predicament that they can't find the hidden aggression. The resulting battle saw over 20 mages dead and over 112 Texan injuries. Nonetheless, it was a victory for the Texans. 

The krakens saw the immense power the Texas nation held and prayed that the Texas senate chooses to let the Krakens stay. 

Back with that queen the coast guard unintentionally rescued, she was immediately sent to the capital to Greg Abbott's office to discuss the issue.

It was later found out the kingdom of the Krakens which was a monarchy that lasted for over 1200 years was overthrown by the darked Krakens, which sparked a civil war that lasted for 7 years and she had to flee in a hurry because there was no telling on what the revolutionaries were going to do to the last queen of the krakens.

Greg Abbott knew that it's never right to throw an enemy and her people to the open world with nothing, as a result he made the decision to the senate and presented all of the queen's problems amd her people. The Queen, Queen Asharia Karlsha, prayed that the Senate will let her and her people stay as citizens.

The senate knew it was a hard choice to make, but they chose to let them stay, and the Queen will have her status as a queen removed, but will be treated fairly. 

Apon hearing the news the queen was extremely thankful and she was taken to her people by helicopter and she made the announcement to her people and all of the Kraken women celebrated.

They were located to El paso island in the Greenfield County and the Queen saw the Texans build houses for her subject while they slept in tents for a few weeks until housing was complete.

On June 21st the town was made up of 9 apartments of 10 rooms each and house for the queen kraken. The queen was extremely grateful and she felt at peace, however some of the krakens were mingling with some of the local Texan lumberjacks in the area and bonded well with those lumberjacks, as a result the Texas population of the island was around 40,000 with krakens making up around 150-170. 

Texas saw the newlyweds of Texas lumberjack and the kraken women they came up with the term Texken, any kraken of Texas decent of any kind will be a Texken. 

The battle was a success, however it was named the kraken crisis, but it lasted for around 2 or so days so people tried to forget about it.

As a result, the dark mages saw the immense power of the Texas military that they new that if they wanted to invade it would be a suicide mission for the mages. 

A fact that Queen Asharia Karlsha knew really well, and slept well knowing that.
