From atop the steep stone steps, James and Malo looked down to the street. Looking back at them through a singular mechanical eye, a robot draped in weaponry stood unmoving as if frozen in time. At the robot's feet, another robot walked on all fours, reminiscent of a wolf. James recognized it from his first encounter with SCP-1010 when she used the scrap steel canines to attack them in the valley. On the shoulder of the bipedal robot, was a black crow, and proving that the robot was functional and able to move, he reached his hand up in a stiff and sudden motion towards his shoulder and waited only a moment for the bird to jump on his metal hand.

With the bird in hand, the robot spoke, "I'm not here to harm you. I've come here to thank you."

James looked to Malo and her to James, "Thank us for what?" Malo asked.

"She can rest peacefully because of you. I'm thankful for this."

"She?" Malo thought for a brief moment before it became obvious to her.

"Is she really dead?" Malo said with a noticeable drop in her voice, a fact she was aware of but still a little hard to hear for certain.

"Yes, her last memories have been wiped, we are all that is left of her."

Silence lingered in the air as the crow flew off into the sky, disappearing.

"I'm glad to have helped her, sorry it couldn't have been sooner," She spoke, her ears folding and her head lowering until her snout pointed down at her feet.

"Don't be sorry," the robot turned slightly with precision to look at her, "I have found peace in hers, but I don't have a purpose anymore. I have also come here to ask if I can help you. I know the man in the red beret has hurt you, he has pushed her into her grave, so I want to return what you have done for her back to you and right that wrong."

They met with the robot and sat on the steps in silence watching the snow fall from the hazy white sky. A deep electronic noise bounded off the inside of the electronic wolf's metal frame as it every so often crudely cocked its head from one side to the other in curiosity at the falling crystals.

"Malo and James," she said after some time.

The robot looked from the sky towards them, "Harper and Dog."

"The strange bird-" Harper began to inquire before a distant noise caught his attention.

The sound of someone tearing down a road echoed across the landscape, a screaming of a strained exhaust howled out like a wolf. Tires soon screeched on the street in front of them as a black armored SUV almost spun out in the light dusting of snow. Jumping out, Hammer and his squad all aimed weapons at Harper and his Dog.

"Step away from the robots," Hammer yelled at them.

"They're with us," James spoke calmly.

"These are instances of SCP-1010-B, they are hostile and dangerous. Step away."

"They are fine," Malo got up and stood in front of Harper, "They aren't hostile."

Hammer didn't lower his weapon and wasn't convinced upon looking at the robot with magazines lined like Christmas stockings across his chest and grenades hanging like ornaments on a tree.

"We aren't moving, you know?" James looked at him.

Hammer eased up, seeing this going nowhere and seeing as the two robots didn't really move, he lowered his rifle in defeat.

"So what, you came here just to protect us, how did you find us anyway?" Malo looked at him disapprovingly with crossed arms.

"Don't worry about it, as long as you two are safe and you haven't lost that sword yet," He scoffed, trying to take something out of his vest.
