The smell of smoke filled the lungs of Piper's little form. Lying in her bed, she was getting restless. She only shot up out of bed when she coughed, the screams of her parents filling her ears.

She scrambled out of bed, "Mom!?" When she heard nothing in response, she tried again, rounding the corner of the kitchen. "Dad!?" She yelled, her voice cracking. That's when her vision became fuzzy, blue. The flames engulfed everything, eating everything.

Her small form began to shake, her heart shattering the longer she stared at her parents' burned bodies lying in the living room; lifeless. She wanted to scream, yell for them. Yell for help, but her voice was gone.

Mechanical laughter could be heard down the hallway, Piper, fearing for her life; noticed the door was blocked. Quickly, she ran to find a hiding spot or just escape the house she was now trapped in.

What was she going to do? Piper hadn't developed her quirk, and yet there was a strange scary man roaming what was left of her home.

She opted to hide in a closet closest to the front door, in case she absolutely had to run through the flames. Her body began to tremble, the closer that mechanical laugh got. Little hands flying up to cover her mouth, to keep from screaming. To keep from coughing to give her location away.

Piper can't stay in there forever. She has to leave unless she wants to die, just like how her parents did. Her eyes widened in pure fear, once hearing the man's voice. "Oh Piper~ We're not going to hurt you. Unless you don't come out from your hiding spot, we will certainly hurt you."

Tears streamed down her face, her hands pressing harder against her mouth. Another man spoke a few moments after, "We would prefer not to, Piper. Our boss wouldn't like us to hurt his new experiment. Though if we have to, he'd understand."

Bright blue light illuminated her features as the door to the closet was yanked open. She was found, so there was no reason to keep quiet anymore. Her voice cracked as she screamed and cried, "Please! D-Don't hurt me! P-Please!"

Her eyes stinging as she pushed her way through them, running away; parkoring around obstacles in her way to safety. She was almost to the other side of the house when she fell, not noticing the looming man standing above her. His menacing smile, the creepy bodiless hands attached to his face, and arms.

He grabbed her leg and yanked her backward, her nails digging into the carpet. Her screams, becoming more of a plead than fear. Her mind was becoming hazy, and she no longer could see anything. All she felt was pain, her body becoming heavy. Was she dying? Was this the end of the line for her?

Piper didn't know. She just felt her body being held. It felt gentle, almost caring, warm. The last thing she remembered was hearing voices, "We secured the package boss, on our way back to the hideout now." The static of what sounded like a walkie-talkie, "Good... Shigaraki, Dabi. Well done."
