Ghosted

Chapter 5

Bakugo and his friends decided that on the weekend, they would go to the bar. Bakugo didn't really want too, however Kirishima convinced him it would be good for him to go out and mingle.

So there he was, sitting at a table full of loud mouths. Mina Ashido is a very pink skinned girl with pink curly hair and yellow eyes. She also has horns on her head as well. Bakugo believes she's an alien condsidering she can shoot literal acid from her hands, her hero name. Pinky.

Denki Kaminari, the human pickachu. His quirk is pretty self-explanatory with the nickname Bakugo gave him, yellow hair with a black lighting streak and yellow eyes. Hero name, Charge Bolt.

Sero Hanta, your friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Though he doesn't shoot webs out of his wrists, he shoots tape out of his elbows. I know it's weird, but we love him. By we, I mean me and you guys. Anyway, he has black eyes and black hair. His hero name is Cellophane.

There are others in the general friend group, but they couldn't make it. Had other plans. They were all chatting amongst themselves, leaving Bakugo out of the conversation. He wasn't sure if they meant to or not, but either way.

He decided to go sit at the bar with the random girl that was sitting there. Maybe he'd spark a conversation with her since he wasn't talking to any one of his friends.

Her staure is small, un like himself. Dark Raven colored hair, "What can I get for you, sir?" The bartender asked as Bakugo sat down in a couple of seats away from the girl.

"Whiskey Bourbon." He stated, taking a glance at the girl. She wasn't looking at anything in particular, just staring off into space. She let out an annoyed sigh, placing her elbows on the counter with her hands pressed to her head. Which caught the Blonde's attention, "Thanks." He said as the bartender sat the drink in front of him. emidietly, he picked it up and took a big swing.

He tried not to make a face, but the nerves in his body betrayed him as the liquid went down. Letting out a sigh of his own, "Long day?" The girl turned her head slightly, "Bakugo." She spoke, without realizing she had said it outloud like she knew him.

Bakugo raised a brow, pointing his pointer finger at her while holding the edge of his glass. "Do I know you?" He asked, taking another drink. The girls face morphed into one of nervousness, "Ah no, well I... Of course I know you. Everyone does."

The man pursed his lips at that, nodding once. "Guess you're right. Well, what's your name?" Our Raven haired beauty never looked directly at Bakugo, fearing he would recognize her.

She didn't even know what name to give him as a cover, but ultimately decided. She thought fuck it, it's Bakugo. What's the worst that could happen. "K. P." Bakugo furrowed his brows, "Is that like, a nickname? Or something?" Piper nodded her head slightly, tilting her head while running her finger gently over her glass.

One of her hands still resting on her head, "Or something." Bakugo hummed in understanding, but that was the end of the conversation.

Piper began fidgeting in her seat, feeling uneasy. The Blonde noticed, "Do I make you feel uncomfortable?" Piper so badly wanted to turn fully toward him, so she did. As she thought the other day, she looked different. However, that didn't stop the anxiety creeping its way through her body.

Bakugo blinked at her. She looked just like Piper, so much so he decided to push. "Does K. P. Stand for Piper Kinley?"

That's it. Her heart stopped, and her words got stuck in her throat. Tears brimmed her eyes, and she got up rather quickly. Almost knocking over the chair, "Wait-" Bakugo tried, reaching for her hand, but got cut off by her yanking it back.

Her voice cracked,"Don't. Just don't, not yet." She stated, then quickly retreated. Bakugo stood up at that, following after her. "Wait! Please!"

His friends all noticed the loud yell, then noticed him chasing after a girl. They all glanced at one another, "What just happened?" Ashido asked, watching Bakugo run after her.
