Chapter 4

⭐️ - Hardin's point of view - ⭐️

We talked for a long time she told me like everything and I feel myself getting angrier I sit down on my bed still processing what she just told me a hour ago. I left when her foster parents got home. I understand why she's afraid to be alone at home. I lay down on my bed and take my phone. We exchanged numbers so when she needs help she can always text me. I always was a guy who left with so many girl but after I met her I don't think that's me anymore.

I open message and text Tessa if she's alright. She responded a couple seconds later that's she's alright and she thanked me for listening. I smile school starts tomorrow and I told her I will be at her house tomorrow so that we can go to school together. I put on my alarm and change into my pyjama's and walk to the window. I see Tessa sitting behind her desk and reading a book. I smile and still can't believe everything she has been through. I see her looking at me as she force a smile and waves at me. I wave back and close the curtains and lay down in bed.

Next morning

I open my eyes slowly and lock in my phone in 5 minutes the alarm will go off. I sit up and take my phone to turn off the alarm. I step out of bed and walk towards my closet to look for clothes. I put on a black skinny jeans and a black shirt like I always wear. I brush my teeth and do my hair and walk downstairs to take my lunch " hey sweetie how was it with Tessa yesterday " I look at my mom who is sitting on the kitchen table with her breakfast " yeah it was alright I'm gonna pick her up right now so we can go to school together so I have to go" I kiss my mom on her cheek and walk towards Tessa's house.

I press the doorbell waiting for someone to open it " hey Hardin " i see Mrs Adam standing in the door opening " hey Mrs Adam I'm here for Tessa I promised her that I will take her to school " I smile at her " she will be there in a second you wanna come in" I nod and walk towards the living room. " I hope she will make some friends at school she had been so quite the last couple days " I look at my hands because I know what's going on " but yesterday when we came home and you left she smiled we never seen her smile " I smile.

" I'm ready to go" I turn around and see Tessa I smile she looks amazing. I take her hand that she allows and walk towards or bikes and drive to school " I don't think we well have all classes together what time are you done today" I look at Tessa " I have 6 classes today" " shoot I have 8 " i feel a little disappointed because I have school till 5 pm. " that's okay I will drive home early but we can meet after dinner if only you want that" I smile " of course I will pick you up around 8 is that okay " I look at Tessa who is nodding " Oke let me introduce you to my friends I know at the party it was fast but I think you and Steph will be good friends " I see her smile. We walk towards my friends and introduce her again " hey Tessa I'm Steph I think we will be great friends " I look at Steph that's hooking her arm in Tessa's arm and smile and nod lightly.

" see you tonight okay Steph has the same classes as you " " yeah thank you Hardin" I smile at Tessa and walk towards my class and sit down on my seat at the back. " hey mate your early" I see zed sitting next to me " yeah it's new haha but I showed Tessa the village and brought her to school" I see zed smiling big " someone is having a crush " I smile yeah I definitely have a crush but after she told me what happened I'm trying to be slow with her I don't want her to be scared of me of course. " I understand she looks amazing " I smile " yeah she does but I'm taking it slow" I see zed looking confused at me and hear him laugh.

" Hardin Scott and going slow I have never heard of that " I shake my head " well it's with a reason zed and know before you ask I'm not gonna tell you reason your too curious and can't keep a secret " I laugh " yeah your right " we both laugh " hello class please open your books on page 200 " I take my book and open it but don't pay any attention. I'm trying to figure out what we are gonna do maybe a movie or ice skating I don't know yet. " Mr Scott please pay attention or leave this class room " I look at my books again pretending to do my work but she's in my mind and I wouldn't mind if she's always in my mind...
