This one's just happy :)
My books are like portals
To other worlds.
Opening the book,
I watch the pages unfurl.
Places that aren't real,
Standing in front of my eyes, bold.
As I watch these stories,
In front of me unfold,
I feel strange sensations,
Or new emotions meeting me.
Like I went skydiving,
Or swam through the sea.
I feel joy, sadness, and shock
As the story takes its twists and turns.
When the story becomes thrilling,
I feel my stomach churn.
This leads me to believe
That writing is a powerful tool.
It can bring so much good
And make people's hearts full.
