Chapter 3 information (part 2)

"We need to talk another the girl." A werewolf said as he walked in.

I was guessing this was the alpha because the rest of the werewolves immediately bowed there heads and were avoiding eye contact.

"Alpha sir, what about the girl?" One of the werewolves asked respectfully.

I didn't understand this. The all seemed almost normal. The seemed like a good pack, except for the fact the kidnapped me and had me locked up for a year.

"Her family wants her back. " the alpha replied curtly.

What? What did he mean they wanted me back? I felt hurt and more confused then I have ever felt.

"They family contacted us last night saying that they would take the girl back."

I would have cried right then, but bees don't cry.

"I can not believe her family had sent her away." One werewolf said regretfully.

"Then why did we agree to keep her here?" One asked, getting angry.

The alpha seemed to take a deep breath to calm down. "I want you all to listen up because I am going to tell you the full story of how Cara Kingston came to be within our pack walls." He cleared his throat and took a sip of water that I didn't even notice he had until right now.

"Cara is here because her parents did not want her. " everyone in the room gasped. I could not breath for a second. My parents didn't want me? "Listen up a calm down!" The alpha commanded. Everyone listened. Except one guy.

"I cant stand this anymore!" He yelled. "We are holding a girl who is 17 years old down stairs in our prison because her parents didn't want her? If her parents didn't want her then she should have just joined the pack! But we are letting her rot in prison instead!"

The alpha again took a deep breath. His eyes filled with worry and his face wrinkled with stress. "Plead calm down Stewart. Let me explain to you about this girl and her family."

I quickly flew closer. What was this guy talking about? Was he serious when he said my parents didn't want me?

I did not understand any of this. The night I was kidnapped my parents were going to have a talk with me. What this alpha is saying is that my parent had planes this kidnapping. But why would my parents do that. There were so many other options but they choose kidnapping, why?

"Cara is a very special and very powerful shifter. She knows more than 50 different animal forms." Around the room the werewolves all wore shocked faces. I never knew that 50 different animal forms was impressive.

"This makes her very powerful." He continued.

I knew I was different, but powerful? I have never really thought about it like that.

"So because she can shift into other forms she is powerful?" Someone asked.

"Yes, but she also has powers that she hasn't discovered yet."

I watched as someone got up to open a window. Now is my chance to leave.

I stay close to the wall and slowly make my way over to the window.

"...she is in this room right now." I froze. Someone saw me? How did they know I was here?

I watched as the alpha walked over to we're I was floating in my bee form.

"Cara shift back please." He asked me, his voice filled with kindness.
