Cara's pov.

-----------------

I woke up to a bright lift filling the room. I was momentarily confused as to where I was. Then the memories flooded back and I was sitting up looking for Drake.

I was in a smaller room with a desk in front of me. There is a TV above it, beside the desk is a large bookshelf filled with books. Their is a closet, a dresser, and a nightstand also in the room.

I stand up and walk out of the room. Following Drakes scent I find him in the kitchen cooking omelets. My stomach growls.

"Well good morning to you too!" Drake joked.

I giggled and my stomach growled again. "Something smells good." I licked my lips.

"We have a big day a head of us so we need to eat a good breakfast." He tells me.

"What's on the agenda exactly?" I ask.

Drake walks over setting a hot omelet in front of me, along with a glass of orange juice.

"Well I want to introduce you to some of the pack members. And of course my parents." Oh no, I haven't even known him a day and I have to meet his parents. What if they don't like me? What if, because I am a shifter, they would rather have me dead? I start to panic and Drake quickly picks up on this.

"Cara it'll be ok, my parents will love you!" His words calm me for now.

Drakes pov

-------------------

I wanted Cara to meet everyone! But I know that can not happen in one day since we are one of the largest packs in the U.S.

I got up early to make Cara breakfast. Not sure what she would like I settled on making a ham and cheese omelet.

I listened as Cara's stomach growls when she finally makes her way down to the kitchen.

"Well good morning to you too!" I joke. I watch her face light up and listen to her beautiful face say "something smells good!" She licks her lips like she is ready to eat.

"We have a big day ahead if us so we need to eat a good breakfast."

"What's on the agenda exactly?" She asks.

I walk over and set a hot omelet and some orange juice in front if her.

"Well I want to introduce you to some of the pack members. And of course my parents." As soon as I mention my parents I can tell Cara is freaking out. I remember how poorly her parents treated her, and she might think that they won't like her because she is a shifter.

"Cara it'll be ok, my parents will love you!"

We quickly finish our breakfast and I tell Cara to meet me outside in 10 minutes so she can change and get ready.

15 minutes later.

I guess I couldn't expect Cara to be ready in 10 minutes but she could have said it would take her longer. Oh well.

5 minutes later Cara walks out laughing.

"What's so funny?" I ask.

"You. You couldn't have really expected me to be ready in 10 minutes!"
