Drake's POV

Since Cara has arrived I haven't had anytime alone with her. My wolf was upset that we haven't mated yet.

"Nick! I'm going home!" I yelled to my beta

I wanted to get home before Cara so I could set up a surprise for her. It was time her and I spent some time together.

I ran home using my werewolf speed. Luckily the house was still empty. She is probably still at the hospital with Lynn, I thought.

I ran to the kitchen and began cooking. I looked over at the clock, it read 3:32. I have a little over two hours to cook dinner.  I decided to make some alfedo.

While everything was cooling off, I went into the dinning room to set up. I set out some candles and glasses for whine. I really hope this went well.

At 6:00 I heard the door open. "Hey Drake! I'm  home!" I heard Cara's beautiful voice yell.

"I'm in here!" I told her.

"Ok so you are never..." She stopped and stared at me when she walked into the room.

"Come on, come sit right here." I pulled out her chair for her.

"Drake this is lovely." she said.

I blushed and walked away to get the food. "I hope you like it, I used one of my mothers recipes." I told her.

Instead of whine I poured some apple juice into the whine glasses knowing that was Cara's favorite drink.

I watched closely as Cara dug into the alfredo. "Drake, this is amazing." she gushed.

I smiled, happy that she loved it. "So I was hoping we could talk." I told her, feeling nervous I put my fork down and watched Cara.

"Sure what do you want to talk about?" she asked.

"Well...you see my..." I wasn't really sure how to tell her that my wolf needed to mark her.

Cara reached over and gripped my hand giving me a heart stopping smile. "It's ok, you can tell me what's on your mind."

I smiled loving how well she understood me, even if we haven't spent much time together.

I decided to just spit it out and hope Cara would not freak out. "My wolf needs to mark you." I said before I could change my mind.

I looked at Cara and I couldn't tell what she was thinking. "Ok." she said nodding her head.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You can mark me." I watched as she stood up.

"We don't have to do it right now." I said.

"Nope, my wolf and I want this." she said, I could see the determination in her  eyes. I gaped at her and stood up quickly to follow her, as she walked to our room.

As I closed the door, I turned around and found Cara sitting on the bed watching me.

"What?" I asked.

She just shook her head and walked up to me. I watched her come closer and closer and I couldn't take it anymore.  I closed the distance and wrapped my arms around her waist. And before I could think through what I was doing I kissed her.

I heard Cara moan and it made me want her even more. I knew I had too slow down before I took her, because she just agreed to me marking her. I trailed kisses down her neck to the spot where I will make my mark.

I felt my canines sharpen and I pulled away to make sure Cara was ok with this. "Are sure?" I asked her.

She nodded and pulled my head back to her neck. My canines sharpened again and this time I didn't stop. I bit into her skin and felt her blood rush into my mouth.

She tasted so good. I groaned and pulled away. I liked up all of the blood and then laid Cara down, knowing she would be very tired.

"Go to sleep Cara." I told her. Her eyes fluttered close and a I laid down next to her.

I kissed her check and closed my eyes. Soon I fell asleep too.
