PLEASE READ!

AN:

I’m sorry I haven’t updated in a month? I haven’t felt like updating…let me tell you a lot can happen in one month, and most of it wasn’t all that great. Anyway I decided to take a look at my books and decided I want to keep going. I can’t give a set time to when I will update. Between school and studying my clubs and the fact I’m trying to lose weight by excursing more I’m pretty much packed. But I want to do this so I’m going to do it. I’ll just say this again that if I knew more people were really enjoying my book I would update faster for them. Sorry about this rant please enjoy!

Lynn’s POV

I am surrounded by nothing. Because that’s all darkness is, nothing. No light, no sound, no anything. So it’s nothing. But being surrounded by nothing is probably the most annoying thing in the world. Especially when you have information you know you’re loved ones need.

Slowly a trickle of light seeped through the nothingness. From that trickle of light came sound. I could hear the steady beeping of a machine nearby. There was also some heavy breathing. Gradually I opened my eyes. The first thing I saw was the white paint on the ceiling above me.

Pain filled my lungs and I suddenly couldn’t breathe. The pain spread through my entire being and suddenly the nothingness came back. But just before it took sound away I could here the loud erratic beeping of the machine next to me.

Suddenly the nothingness receded and I was back in the garden. But the garden was a mess. The flowers burnt to a crisp the statue toppled over. The bench were the moon goddess and I had our conversation was on fire. And standing behind that was a man dressed in all black. Thick jet black hair crowned his head. Pitch black eyes glared at me. And just under the left eye was a scar that ran all the way down to the man’s neck.

“Hello Lynn.” His gruff voice greeted me. Fear gripped at my heart and I tried to push it away but it just gripped me harder.

“You’re afraid? That’s good Lynn. You should be afraid of me.” The man took a step towards her but she quickly took a step back.

“However I don’t think you know who I am, do you? Well there will be time for introductions later. Right now it’s my turn to give you a message. The moon goddess seemed to think she was the only one with an important message, well she was wrong. Now listen closely Lynn because I don’t want you to miss a word.” Lynn’s muscles locked her in place, keeping her from moving back as the man got closer.

“I can smell the fear coming off of you in waves, Lynn.” An evil smile placed itself on the man’s lips. It faltered for a minute but quickly resumed its place.  “I have a very limited amount of time with you; it seems the moon goddess does not like my talking to you.”

Lynn gulped fear taking over completely. The man’s eyes began to glow and a voice that filled her being completely with darkness filled her head.

The three noble ones your goddess told you about do not exist.

If they should exist, they are dead.

There is no hope.

There is nowhere to hide.

And there is only one fate for all of you…

Death.

Gasping Lynn shot up and out of the hospital she has been in. “Lynn!” a surprised voice yelled from behind her. Still scared Lynn jumped and shifted into her wolf. A whimper escaped her and uncontrollable shivers wracked her body. “Oh Lynn, calm down! Please, it’s just me, Emily!” Lynn turned around and saw her sister, tears running down her beautiful face.

Shifting back before her sister could say anymore “I have so much to tell you!”

Cara POV

“I can’t believe this! It’s so great to be able to communicate with animals this way.” I told Drake again.

He laughed and said “I know I know!”

“Could you believe that amazing story that fox told us!” As Drake and I were experimenting with my new found power we realized when both of us were in our wolf forms, I could share an animal’s thoughts with him.

Drake only smiled but soon got a faraway look in his eyes and his smile turned into a semblance of a frown.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“Come on!” he said taking my hand and pulling my hand.

“Drake! Tell me what’s going on!”

He stopped and turned around to face me. “Lynn she’s awake. And she has a lot to tell us.”
