Y was up all night, trying to figure out how to tell the Professor he's pregnant. He's not sure how the Professor will react. He's terrified that he'll be tossed aside, along with the child they created.

He's reading up on omega pregnancies, miscarriages, and even abortions. But, the thought of ending the life that he and the Professor created together, turns his stomach. He stands to pace, a hand on his lower abdomen.

"What if it ends up, just you and me kid? I hope I'll be good enough." Y says, pulling out his cell as he hears it ring. "Hello?"

"Hey baby, how are feeling today? Any better?" Professor X asks, papers shuffling in the background.

"Um, I'm okay." Y says, rubbing his stomach.

"I'm getting a ton of emails about our interview. They actually aired it this afternoon." Professor X says surprised. "The amount of people asking when we're going to have a baby is, a lot. They say we look good together and would make cute kids." He laughs.

"Ha, really? We've never even talked about kids and strangers are pushing the subject?" Y asks, swallowing a lump in his throat. "Do you, even want kids?" He asks nervously.

"Hm, honestly?" Professor X says, Y holding his breath. "I'm a gay man. I never really thought about it much, even after omegas were discovered. I mean, the chances of me finding an omega and settling down were slim." Y frowns, his hand fisting over his stomach. "But, then I met you." Professor X's voice softens. "Suddenly, I'm thinking of the future and children. Crazy, huh?"

"Yeah, crazy." Y says, fighting back tears.

"Anyway, I want to see you when you're feeling better. There's something important I need to tell you. But, not over the phone, okay?"

"Mn, I'll call you once I'm better babe. Promise." Y says, barely hearing the Professor say goodbye and hang up. He strokes his stomach. "Hey there kid. There's a chance that it won't be just the two of us after all."

Y calls a cab and heads to a local free clinic. At the check in desk, he's surprised the nurse recognizes him and asks what his symptoms are.

"Uhm, I'm here... to confirm a pregnancy." Y says, swallowing hard. The nurse smiles, looking around. "I, took an at home test last night and it was, positive. I want to be sure before I tell him." He knows she's looking for the Professor.

"I understand. False positives have been known to happen." The nurse smiles softly, handing him a clipboard with papers to fill out. "Let us know, your last cycle and any allergies you have to medications. Just bring that up when you're done and we'll get you seen before you know it."

"Thank you." Y rises, heading to a quiet corner to fill out the paperwork.

Y sighs, the section on family history is always left blank. He glances at his stomach, what hereditary disorders might he pass on to this child? He's no fool. Just because he's always been healthy, that doesn't mean his children will be so lucky. He finishes filling out the paperwork and takes it back up, nodding to the nurse as she takes it while on the phone. He returns to his seat and pulls out his phone. The Professor should've finishing his last lecture of the day right about now. He suddenly feels like he's being watched and he glances up to see a young woman staring at him. He fidgets uncomfortably and turns his body away from her, but she rises and approaches him.

"Uhm, you're him, right?" The young woman asks, twisting her fingers together. "The omega that was on tv?"

"Oh, yeah. That's me." Y says, realizing that this might happen from time to time now.

"May I sit with you?" The young woman asks, and Y motions for her to take the seat beside him. "Thanks. My name's Debbie. What you said, did you really mean it?" She asks and he looks at her confused.
