(Kirito POV)

Everyone made their way to the center island and was now in the elevator. Yuuki was the only one not here, but he should either be already there somehow or arriving later on.

As the elevator landed on the trial room, we all stepped out, and like I had suspected Yuuki was there, but still laying down in a hospital bed.

'Why on earth is he even here?' I wondered.

Everyone else had been cured except for him. I wondered why he was the exception.

"Now let's get this party started!" Monokuma yelled from atop his throne, next to him Monomi who hadn't been useful at all.

"Ya'know, I had high expectations of you Monomi, what a pity you're just a bum," Dazai said with a shrug.

She didn't respond though, which made Dazai eye her even more suspiciously.

"Anyway, I'll get it started this time." Fuuka said putting her fingers on her chest, "The victims are Luffy and Nami, one killed by strangulation and the other by knife wounds, and both happened on the same night."

"Also, just to make sure I'm being fair with this, While the Monokuma file says they were both killed at midnight, only one of them was, the other was killed shortly after but not in the same minute," Monokuma announced.

"Makes sense." Dazai said, "Alright. Firstly, I believe that Nami was not killed by the knife wounds. I believe she was also strangled to death."

"On what basis?" Echidna asked

"Luffy had died first, to none other than Nami."

"...So, then because Luffy didn't want to hurt Nami, he didn't fight back?" Kazuma asked

"Something like that. Luffy had likely realized what was going on with the real plan behind the scenes and decided that it was going to be difficult to save her regardless."

"...That's not Luffy though," Kazuma countered, "He wouldn't just give up on Nami because it was difficult."

Then Fuuka snapped her fingers, "Ah, I see now."

"Can you fill us in then?" Hanako asked

"Yuuki had managed to brainwash Nami into thinking that they were friends or something of the sort. No, considering she died holding his hand, it is better to assume he convinced her they were lovers."

"How though? Wasn't he asleep?" Aqua asked

"...You mean he was awake the whole time?" Albedo said with a surprised tone

"No, not the whole time. Only enough to convince Nami to protect him. He needed someone to take the bullet if he were to get targeted and it happened to be Nami. But, there is something off with this strategy." Dazai said as he glared at Echidna, "How did Yuuki find out? He couldn't have found out from Nami since she was with Luffy, Aqua, and Luffy at the time. Meaning someone else filled them in."

"I don't know why you're looking at me, but I agree."

"Don't play dumb with me, you set all this up." Dazai said pointing a finger at her, "You and Yuuki have been working together since the very start. There was no other way for him to get an outfit otherwise."

He was referring to the first trial with Tohru.

"...That may be true, but so what? You have no proof I did it this time. Just because someone killed in the past doesn't mean they're responsible for another murder, right?"

"..."

Dazai went quiet as he went into thinking. 

"So, I would like to vouch for 2 people." Echidna said, "Hanako and Gojo."
