(Kazuma POV)
It was now night, and we were all in our rooms at the motel. Just to be on the safe side though, Luffy, Nami, and Aqua were all staying in my room. Truthfully, Nami should be quarantining but we've been around her all day, and she hasn't infected any of us. Not to mention she hasn't been around anyone sick either, leading me to think that the cause of the despair disease spreading is all based on whether Monokuma wants it to or not.
"Want to play some cards?" Luffy asked
"Sure," Aqua said as she happily walked over, "What do you wanna play?"
A little while ago, we found cards in the drawer of our hotel rooms.
"Hm...Go fish! Wait, where?!"
Luffy, confused by his own words thought that someone had brought fish in. I couldn't tell if he was also sick, or if he was genuinely just that dumb.
"Sigh, I'll play as well." I said, "Nami, do you remember how to play Go Fish?"
She then shook her head.
"Ok, so we are going to be dealt 7 cards and then we have to try and guess the other person's cards. The goal of the game is to have 4 of a kind, so like, 4 kings, or 4 10's. So, if Luffy had a king, and I had a king, I would ask him for his kings. Even if he had two or more, he would have to give them all to me. If I were wrong, he would tell me to go fish-"
"Where?!"
"...And I would draw one from the pile. Got it?"
Nami nodded her head, saying that she understood. She stopped talking as much recently. She hasn't forgotten to talk but I think it's just because the world is slowly becoming foreign to her.
"Now, prepare to be on your hands and knees begging me to lose, here we go!" I yelled and sealed.
.
.
.
"MUAHAHAHAHA! MERE MORTALS SHOULD KNOW THERE PLACE!" I yelled as I laughed at everyone. "What, 7 wins to Aqua's one? Nami Luffy, get your heads in the game!"
"It's not my fault! I keep on getting distracted when someone says fish!"
"That's just cause you're an idiot!" I screamed back
"...I keep on forgetting the rules...Sorry, but I'm gonna go to sleep." Nami said sadly as she got onto one of the two beds in the room.
Aqua already had her stuff on the other one, so I guess Luffy and I were on the floor tonight.
We continued to play a little bit when there was a knock on the door.
Carefully, I checked who it was and it was Echidna, wearing a grin that said nothing unsettling at first but something about it was unsettling.
"Can I help you?"
"Yes, I would like to discuss how this week is going to go with you and everyone else. I already have Gojo on board and obviously Hanako, but no one else. Would you be interested?"
"..." I turned my head back to the others, "What do you think?"
"I say we go!" Luffy yelled
"Yeah, but we can't just leave Nami in here alone..." I said with a distraught voice.
"If you'd like, I could have Hanako wait with her. Believe it or not, he is good at protecting people."
"..."
Normally that would be unthinkable, but with Luffy and Aqua as the alternatives, I think Hanako would be the better choice.
"Sure. Let's get going guys."
