(Kazuma POV)
A huge bombshell was dropped on me, and as Aqua reminded me with stuttering words, I continued to remember more and more.
Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.Despair.
That's all it was.
Where I was right now was nothing more than a trap. We were caught and brought here somehow. We needed to get out, but...There's no point. Everything is already gone. There is absolutely nothing left for me.
"K-Kazuma?" Aqua spoke, noticing that I was looking strangely frightened.
'No...That's not quite right.'
There was only one thing that I did have. One person more rather. Aqua.
She was present in my life as an adventurer and as well as my new life in this murder game.
"No...I'm ok." I said in what I hoped was a comforting voice, "Right now, what we need to do is just camp it out. Just wait until the week is over. Ok?"
"Alright!" She agreed readily.
After that, the both of us left the hotel.
'This whole thing doesn't matter anymore. The only thing that matters is managing to protect myself and Aqua. That's all I have to do. I don't know Yuuki, I don't know Luffy, I don't know anyone else.'
I continued to tell myself that over and over.
.

.
The rest of the week passed. I smiled as I watched the sun rise knowing it was all over.
Aqua and I had camped out in the woods the whole time, only rarely coming back for food or reasons like that.
"The week is finally over..." Aqua muttered
Right when she said that the memories that were replaying over and over again in my mind finally stopped being so persistent. I still remembered them, but they weren't my main concern anymore.
"Let's go see the others."
We both walked to the motel, where everyone was except Luffy, Nami, and Yuuki.
"..."
"..."
No words were being said. The air was obviously quite tense.
After a while of waiting, Echidna spoke up.
"Perhaps we should check the hospital? That was where you said Yuuki was last, right Kirito?"
"Yes."
He responded matter-of-factly as he and Albedo led the way. As we walked, Gojo slid over to us.
"I know I'm not the guy you wanna talk to right now considering everything that happened, but just know that Luffy was not killed when I fought him. He was tough, and the only ones stronger than him were Me, Kirito, and Yuuki. So keep your head up."
That was all he said before picking up his pace.
Then Dazai slid up next to me.
"Sorry, I couldn't be much help. Seems like everyone went through a lot."
"...It's fine."
I wasn't in the mood to talk. I just wanted to see everyone again.
When we reached the hospital and walked inside the room where Yuuki was, I dropped to my knees.
