You're a white pencil,
You get transferred from jar to jar,
Filled with many other colored pencils.
Your three best mentors are writing pencils. They're great at scribing.
Each of them has their separate pencil case, and
When help is needed,
They get called upon the most. With their presence, every colored pencil gives them the attention you never received.
As a white pencil, you can't get envious of them either,
Those writing pencils give you color. You can't help but feel insulted when they finally look at you and give compliments.
You don't think they're fake friends,
You just hate to think that this is all you'll ever achieve. You can't force something to have a meaning when it doesn't have one,
But you do, you do have a meaning. When the paper is black, you are what gives light to it.
You bring ideas and creativity to life, and
You get to erase mistakes and start fresh.
