Ella couldn't help but think that there was something that her mum was keeping from her. She didn't know what it was. But things seem tense.

Ella had been leaning on Cal. He was her rock. And she had to admit that she was falling in love with him more every day.

She needed to talk to her mum. But she didn't know what to say to her. She didn't know how to ask her about what was going on.

Cal had told her that she had nothing to worry about. But she was worried. She felt like things were all changing.

Ella didn't want to bother her sister. Especially as she had just had a baby. Kenzie was struggling with being a mum. She wasn't sleeping well.

All she knew was that things were changing. And she didn't know what to do about it.

Morning came and she was lying in bed with Cal. They had been having sex since they had woken up.

Ella groaned as she looked to him. "You and I need to get away for a bit. Cause I think that having sex in the same room is getting dull," she said.

Cal laughed. He kissed her lips. "Well how about we book somewhere this weekend? Just us and no one else?" He asked.

"Sounds good. Somewhere no one knows us. And we can have amazing hot sex."

"Sounds good. I love you."

"I love you too."

Cal looked to her. He smiled. "Do you still think your mum is keeping something from you and Kenzie?" He asked.

Ella nodded. "Yeah. I do. And I just... I need to know what it is. It's driving me mad. There's something going on with her and Charlie," she said. 

"I'll help you find out. I don't want you upset over anything," Cal told her.

Ella went into work with Cal. She smiled as she saw her sister. "Hey. Where's Maddie?" She asked.

"In crèche. I have to go back to work. I'm getting bored sitting in the flat day after day. I'm only here for a couple hours," Kenzie told her.

Ella smiled. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm good. I'm freezing cold though. My flat is nice and warm it," Kenzie said. She smiled. "You seem tense. What's going on?" She asked.

Ella sighed. "Mum. I think she's keeping something from us. And I'm not sure that I like it," she said.

"Like what?"

"I don't know. But I think it has something to do with Charlie," Ella told her.

Kenzie frowned. She could see how tense her sister was. And she was worried. "Whatever it is, it's going to be okay," she said.

Ella was sitting in the staffroom. She looked up as Charlie walked in she sighed. "Is there anything you or my mum need to tell me?" She asked.

Charlie frowned. "No. Why?"

"Just wondering. Because it seems like she's keeping a secret from me. A secret I'm not sure I'm going to like," Ella said.

Charlie shook his head and left. Ella knew in that moment there was something. But would she ever get the truth about what was going on?
