Jimmy blankly starred at Stevie in silence. She tried to understand his reaction or rather lack of it, her lips sealed as well. Stevie took a sip of her wine, while Jimmy shifted in his position and scratched the back of his head.

"Who's Lindsey?" He finally asked.

Stevie relaxed, realizing that Jimmy didn't have a clue, who she was talking about, instead of being angry or jealous. "Seriously?" Stevie replied. "Lindsey, my ex-" She paused. "My ex-bandmate? From Fleetwood Mac?" She sighed heavily, annoyed. "We've literally just seen him perform at your friend's place."

Jimmy's eyes widened as realization hit him. "Oh! Yeah, that guy." He nodded his head. "No."

Stevie frowned and swallowed a big gulp from her glass before speaking. "What do you mean, no?"

"Oh come on, Stevie." Jimmy laughed, rolling his eyes. "The guy's a nobody! I've just told you that I could get anyone to join your tour and you want some- some-"

"Go on." Stevie challenged raising an eyebrow, waiting to hear what Jimmy truly thought.

Jimmy sighed and his hand fell on her bare thigh, he then smiled at her not entirely sincerely. "Babe, seriously. I get that he's your friend or whatever, but this is a business decision."

"Well, yeah. Nobody's heard much from Lindsey the past few years, but he was part of one of the biggest bands in the world. Don't you think there are still Fleetwood Mac fans around? They gave me a chance." Stevie added with a shrug.

"One of the biggest bands in the world." Jimmy repeated scoffing. "For what, like two years? You can't compare yourself to him. You're in a totally different league!" Jimmy yelled out and moved away, he rolled out of bed to find his stash for another joint. "If he were good enough, he would have made it by now."

Stevie followed Jimmy with her eyes narrowed. "He is good enough. He's got more talent in his little finger than some of the artists selling out stadiums!"

"Oh my God..." Jimmy murmured. "Go grab a cup of coffee, take him out for a meal, just- do whatever you want in your free time with the guy, but he's not going on tour with you." Jimmy shook his head, throwing his arms up in the air, frustrated. "Stevie-"

"It's my tour." Stevie interrupted him calmly. "We're discussing a support act. Why do you care?"

"Do you honestly think you would have had such massive crowds if one of the ex-Eagles hadn't been there every night too?" Jimmy didn't really believe his own statement, but he was getting angry and she didn't seem to understand.

"Oh, so I'm-" Stevie lay a hand on her chest for emphasis. "Not good enough now either?"

"No, that's not-" Jimmy clenched his jaw, breathing heavily. "You are, of course you are." He walked around the foot of the bed and slumped down on her side. "Baby, come on. This is a stupid argument we're having and for what? Just listen to me, okay?"

"When are you ever going to listen to me?" Stevie hugged her knees to her chest, when Jimmy tried touching her again. "Lindsey is incredibly talented and he's also a fantastic performer. Would it kill you to have him on tour with me and sing five or six songs?"

Jimmy sighed heavily, shaking his head, he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Touring brings a shitload of money. Other famous musicians as support acts bring bigger crowds. Like, what are you not getting here? I'm not doing fucking charity work, Stevie." He got back up on his feet. "Join him at one of the pubs he plays at if you want him so bad."

"Christ, I didn't say I wanted him!" Stevie shouted as Jimmy moved away. "I would just like to do something nice for someone, who played a big part in me even having a career. If not for Lindsey, half of the songs on my setlist that people sing along to every night wouldn't be there!"

Seeing the fight as completely pointless, Jimmy reached for his clothes he'd dropped on the floor earlier and began to redress. Stevie watched him, confused. Only when he was fully dressed again and grabbing his things he'd left on the nightstand, Stevie spoke up.

"So, you're just going to run away from me?"

"Not you, this stupid fucking argument." Jimmy shrugged. "I'll find somewhere to sleep, don't worry."

"Jimmy, we're not fin-" Stevie tried, but he was already on his way out.

"Give me a call, when you've changed your mind."
