A puff of smoke filled the room as the phone rang. Stolas sleepily looked at the cloud. "Octavia is calling." it read.

"Good morning, how is my little owlet!" Voice thick with sleep as he answered. "Oh... well, good afternoon then! ... I'm well. You'll be pleased to know I've eaten a meal... There's actually been a positive development." Loving eyes gazed at the sleeping imp. "I'd like to tell you in person, there's no rush. I assume you're staying tonight with your mother? ... I am, I promise I'm okay... I love you, too, Via... goodbye."

A ding indicated a notification on his phone. As it turns out, he had a few from Loona. His phone read...

Loona 2:56am: hey text me when u wake up. My dad didn't come home.

Loona 10:17am: need to know if Blitz is with u.

Loona 12:14pm: dude answer. The m&ms won't stfu.

Stolas 12:16pm: Blitzy is with me. Sorry to worry you all. We just had a late night.

Loona 12:17pm: ew. Dude. Didn't need to know that.

Stolas 12:17pm:  Not like that. Mind if I borrow him for the day?

Loona 12:19pm: whatever I'm not his keeper. Can't do shit without ur book anyway.

"Bird-brain finally answered, guys. So, can you crawl out of my asshole? You knew he'd be over there. It's the full moon, remember?" Loona rolled her eyes in annoyance. The couple exchanged glances before responding. "You don't know what happened, do you? Haven't you noticed Blitz has acted strange for weeks?" Millie questioned the hell-hound.

"I guess he's been more of an asshole lately. Why? What happened?"

Millie went on to explain the events of the night at Ozzie's, with Moxxie periodically inputting. "...and so then we took the attention off of them by finishing our love ballad. We got kicked out, but it was worth it."

Moxxie chimed in. "Every time we brought it up, we got shot down."

"Blitz at least likes the prince, so It had to be hard for him."

Loona's ears lowered in sympathy. "Yeah... it's obvious to everyone except Blitz... and the bird is damn clueless. He's staying over there though, so I guess that's a good sign."

Moxxie rubbed the back of his neck. "I feel bad for the guy. All the prince wants is sex."

"Now, hold on, Mox. You really don't think there's any  feelings there? He showed up that night at the drop of the hat. You know Blitz wasn't planning on going to Ozzie's til he knew we were going."

"Duh, cause feather brain knew he'd get dicked down afterwards." Loona rolled her eyes.

"Come on! What about the fact that Blitz is still there! He's usually home by now"

Loona growled in exasperation. "Fine! Shut the fuck up! If I tell you this, and you say anything, I'll break your fucking necks, got it?" The couple nodded and listened. "He's losing his shit over Blitz. I met his daughter at Stylish Occult a while back.   We've been texting and she told me he's head over heels in love. Moping. Crying. She has to force him to eat. He's a fucking mess."

Millie jumped a foot in the air. "I knew it!"

"Not one word!" Her fur stood on end. "The part I didn't know was what happened at Ozzie's. All Octavia told me was that they had a bad date. I swear to Satan, if you two meddle-"
