A/N Say bye bye to the story, we're going back to the one shots. This means i'm DONE with the chapter story cuz I won't have as much time, i'll just leave like your dad- I mean, i'll leave with a happy ending :D

Loona 2:34 pm: hey girl, blitz stayed the night with your dad, and he's staying all day. I think they might be working it out. Thought it would be nice for you to know.

Octavia 2:37pm: that's great! Dad said something good happened but didn't tell me what. He said he wanted to in person.

Loona 2:38pm: sounds like they're on the right track then! They're stupid when it comes to this shit, but Blitz wouldn't have stayed if things weren't going well. I found out what happened on their date and I think you deserve to know. Can I call? It's too much to text.

Octavia 2:39pm: yeah, one sec. Lemme make an excuse to get away from mom and I'll call you.

Roughly ten minutes later, Loona had an incoming call from her friend. She answered and proceeded to explain everything Moxxie and Millie had told her earlier.

There was a pause when she finished. Octavia wandered around outside Stella's home mindlessly as she spoke. "That's... Wow, That's awful! Dad was a total wreck that night. I found him passed out wasted, then he spent the rest of the night crying 'til he fell asleep. I've never seen him like that."

"Yeah, I remember you telling me about that. Blitz has been acting strange lately, but I didn't know all that happened 'til the M&Ms told me today." Loona's attention was drawn to the photos on the walls of the apartment, all with Blitz's face marked out. "Your dad seriously has his hands full with Blitz if they're gonna make this work. He's been in shitty relationships and that left him a total wreck. Dude sucks at feelings."

"My dad's not exactly gonna be a walk in the park. I honestly don't think he knows how to do the relationship thing either. From what he told me, mom never actually loved him. Come to think of it, they weren't real lovey-dovey even when I was a kid... and," A scowl twisted the princess' face as she looked toward the estate. "I've never actually been close to mom. She was always so cold. She was the one that started arguments over the smallest bullshit, screaming and throwing stuff while dad just kinda took it."

"I'm sorry, girl... that really sucks." Her voice was sympathetic.

"It does. Like, everyone wants their parents to be together and be in love, but he deserves to be happy." She shrugged to herself. "So, I guess I'll have to get used to the little red asshole!"

The two shared a laugh. Both girls had connected over their past with parental issues. Loona had been orphaned at a young age and spent most of her childhood being passed around in the foster system, while Octavia had been in constant discord with her parents' - really just her mother's - bickering. It was comforting knowing someone else had experienced similar struggles, and it fed into their friendship, along with their similar tastes in music and clothes. Usually, though, Loona was the one who provided the most comfort. Being older than the owlet, she'd not only accepted the cards she had been dealt, but sympathized with her, taking on a role akin to an older sister.

"He'll grow on ya! I give him shit, but I do love the guy. Just spend as much time as you can with your dad." Loona caressed the horse figurine Blitz had gotten her for her last adoption anniversary. She'd pretended not to care at first, but allowed him to see a soft smile that she jokingly played off. She smiled at the memory. "If he's anything like mine, he needs it... bad."

Octavia wore a sympathetic smile as she thought back to their father daughter dates. Stolas did everything in the world to spend time with her and show he cared, even if he sucked at it sometimes. "I'd say he does. He's clueless and self-absorbed most of the time but I know he never means to hurt anyone, and if he really cares about someone, he's willing to learn. He did for me."
