“GO BEEEEEEEE! I LOVE YOU!!! GO!” I shouted as loud as I can and the crowd shouted approval. I looked at Alyssa’s direction and I gave her a “You Don’t Mess With A Jealous Girlfriend look, she grimaced. I just smiled at her.
Mukhang effective naman yung pagchecheer ko dahil mukhang ginanahan nang maglaro ulit si Louis, he smiled at me and I did the same. Huh! Humanda ka sakin mamaya!
“Hoy Girl! Anong ginagawa mo? Are you looking for some fight? Join ako jan!” narinig kong sabi ni Jacky, sumunod pala siya sa akin.
“I am not asking for a fight, I am just showing this girl that Louis is my boyfriend and she should not—
“I LOVE YOU LOUIS! GO! GO!”
The crowd bewildered. OH MY GAHHHHD. Did she just yell ILOVEYOU to my boyfriend?
“BEEE! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! GO SHOOT THAT BALL AND YOU’LL HAVE YOUR PRIZE!” I yelled and sent him a flying kiss.
The crowd gets wilder. I saw confusion crossed Louis’ face but thank God he still caught my kiss. He gave me a puzzled look but I just smiled at him and the ball was taken away from his hands. He seemed not to mind at all and went to the referee, after a while the referee whistled and point a player in Louis’ team. Louis is crossing his way towards me.
“What happened? Why did—”
He took my hand and dragged me away from the crowd, Jacky was about to go but he waved.
“Anong nangyayari? Why were you screaming like that?” he asked when we are already out of the court.
“What? I was cheering you, di ba halata?” I said irritated.
“Chloe, you’re not cheering me, you were competing with Alyssa!”
“Competing? Why would I? Is there a reason? Louis?” I gave him a wary look.
“Of course wala. You are my girlfriend—”
“Exactly! I am your girlfriend! But you’re letting her cheer you! Oh no! That was not cheering, that was flirting!” I said exasperated.
“Chloe, are you jealous?”
“Jealous? Louis? She’s shouting I LOVE YOU to you then tatanungin mo ako kung nagseselos ako? GO DRIBBLE YOUR MIND!” I said and went back inside the court.
Nakita kong sumali na ulit si Louis sa game and the crowds started whistling and yelling again, maybe asking for a childish act again but third quarter ended without me screaming but Alyssa was still yelling. I realized what I did was so immature, and that’s not Chloe.
Nakita kong papalapit na ulit sa amin si Louis.
“Ahmm Jacky, mauna na ako.. Pakisabi na lang sa pinsan mo.. Sige.” I slung my bag in my shoulder.
“Chloe, wait hatid na kita..” habol sa akin ni Jacky
“Bee…” I felt his hand in my waist.
“Sige Jacky… bye.” And I walked toward the exit of the court with him following me.
“Bee…” and he stopped me from walking.
“What Louis?” I said and faced him.
“Bee, please listen to me…” he paused. “Alyssa is just –
“Louis!”
Speaking of the devil…..
We both looked at her direction. “Oh Alyssa…” he said with an awkward smile.
