As you had done a few nights ago. You began writing a new article. This time avoiding labelling making his line of good or evil blurred. You couldn't tell for yourself.

Once satisfied with the amount you had written you called it a night.

You struggled to fall asleep you tossed and turned your mind still filled with thoughts.

"Y/N!", the sudden call of your name startled you sitting up you saw non other than the man who said he didn't want to see you again.

"Spider-Punk?", you couldn't help sounding confused. Why was he here? What was he doing? One thing you knew for sure was he looked and sounded panicked.

"Come on we have to go!", he said grabbing your arm and pulling you out the nearby window with him.

"Tell me what's going on!?", you were beginning to panic, he'd never seemed so terrified. What was going on? Was he in danger? Were you in danger?

He firmly grabbed your shoulders, staring intensely into your soul.

"Run", he whispered before pushing you in a seeming random direction. Following his orders you ran glancing back over your shoulder at him.

He just stood there. Waving. Before raising his hand to remove his mask.

A sudden thud startled you awake, quickly scanning your room you saw a familiar figure standing in your room causing your heart to drop. You turned on the lamp beside you bed, but he was gone. You must've just dreamt it... all of it.

That was the first night you dreamt of Spider-Punk and many were going to follow.

Over the next two months you published more articles people loved them, so much so you had earned a permanent position in the paper.

Each time you found something new to write about, new villain attacks, him saving you a few times. As Spider-Punk had predicted he saw you a lot, despite his wishes.

Sometimes he would even find you. It seemed as if whenever you ran into trouble he wouldn't be far away. It's as if he did have a sixth sense.

Over those two months you found him appearing in your dreams more and more commonly each time it would end just before you saw his face. It was like life was tormenting you. It was as if every aspect of your mind wanted to know who he was.

You had repaired your relationship with Janice, though you still felt the sting of that day you tried to push it away.

You knew it was never good to mix business and pleasure, but all you wanted. Was to know was the man.
The man who became more and more attractive everytime you saw him.
The man who seemed to hate everyone but began to develop a soft spot for you.
The man who saved you countless times.
The man you had fallen in love with You hate to admit to yourself but you had fallen for him. Hard. The more you saw him, the more you wished to know him. To be with him.

Each time you wrote an article he would always seem to find you. Criticize the article a little, but you really didn't mind. Every conversation you had you found yourself getting to know him more, but then falling for him more. You'd like to call him a friend at least. With the amount you'd see him, you felt close enough to call him a friend. Though you wished it was more.

As much as that little voice in your head told you it wasn't possible. That he was a hero and you should move on, you simply tuned it out everytime you ran into him.

The last time you saw him was after another supervillain attack. But this time you didn't just walk away. You finally bit the bullet and asked to meet. For a "personal interview" again.... but this time it was a little different. You tried to defend it as something for the article but you don't think he bought it. Before he could leave you tried once more, this time being honest.

"What if it wasn't for the paper?" You finally asked. Your heart was racing with every word, you knew there was a great risk asking like this. Yet the burning curiosity to know the man behind the mask, was worth the risk.

He hesitated a moment, his back still turned to you. You heart sunk for a moment this was where you got very harshly rejected.
However there was no harsh rejection that followed.

"So you just want to interview me for personal reasons?", he taunted finally turning back to you.

You nodded in response earning a slight chuckle from the man before you.
"Don't people say you should never mix business and pleasure", he continued.

"Well that's bold of you to assume. Maybe I just want to know the man who keeps saving me", you replied in a defensive manner.

"Right. Sure"

A brief silence followed. You waited for him to turn you down.
"I'll see you later tonight then", he added before taking to the skies leaving you in the empty alleyway.

Your heart immediately began beating harder and faster, he actually agreed. You could feel yourself smiling like an idiot, but you didn't care at this point. Maybe things were actually going to become more than just a business relationship.

Making your way home you still couldn't believe this was actually happening. Tonight you were finally going to learn more about the man behind the mask. The man who you had fallen in love with. Though it pained you to admit it, you were slowly accepting that your feelings toward him were more than just intrigue.
Were you just going to talk at your house? Or should you go somewhere with him? You weren't sure how he perceived this invitation.
You didn't want to think of it as a date. But you totally wish it was. Maybe he thought it was a date?

Once home you quickly made a few notes about how the most recent villain attack. It seemed more and more were popping up at an alarming rate. Spider-Punk always seemed to handle it quickly and with ease.
As soon as you finished making a few notes your mind was immediately back to him and meeting with him tonight.
Maybe you shouldn't have been so nervous about it and actually asked him on a date. Your heart pounded at the thought, what would it be like to actually date a hero. This has been in your mind a lot lately. It always seemed to work out in movies, yet they always know the person behind the mask, before realising they're a hero.
In your case you only know the hero. But maybe that would change tonight... you hoped.
