Piccolo arrived on the serene mountain where Goku's wife and Gohan lived. Piccolo visited almost every day after Goku's passing after the battle with Cell. Midori-ko and Gohan were taking it pretty hard. Goku was their glue and this time he wasn't coming back.
A very pregnant Midori-ko walks out of the Son family home as Piccolo walks up to the house.
"Good morning Piccolo." Midori-ko exhales
"Morning." Piccolo nods
"Are you hungry? I made breakfast." Midori-ko asks
"Your pregnancy brain must be kicking in." Piccolo chuckles
"Oh God I'm sorry." Midori-ko holds her forehead
"I'll take some of that refreshing mountain water though." Piccolo pats her shoulder walking inside "Is Gohan awake?" He asks making his way to the kitchen.
"Not yet." Midori-ko followed Piccolo inside
"Good because I wanted to talk to you about something." Piccolo brings up sitting at the kitchen table
"What's on your mind?" Midori-ko asks going to the kitchen sink to get Piccolo's water
"What's your plan for Gohan's training?" Piccolo asks
Midori-ko was silent as she got Piccolo his water and brought it over to him.
Midori-ko placed the glass of water in front of Piccolo and stood in front of him crossing her arms
"That's Gohan's choice." Midori-ko sternly says
"You're his mother." Piccolo tells her
"No shit." Midori-ko says
"Midori-ko your son is now the most powerful martial artist in the world." Piccolo reminds her
"He's also an 11 year old boy who just lost his father no one is going to tell my son what he has to do." Midori-ko's eyes flashed red
"I empathize I do." Piccolo tells her sipping on the water "But you have to acknowledge the elephant in the room, Gohan has the potential to be the strongest being on earth I mean Midori-ko he has Goku and you as his parents." Piccolo says
"I don't care." Midori-ko states "No one is forcing Gohan to do anything he doesn't want to anymore." Midori-ko growls
"It's because of Goku isn't it?" Piccolo asks
"Damn it Piccolo." Midori-ko clenches her fists
"Midori-ko I know how you feel." Piccolo says
"You do not know how I feel!" Midori-ko shouts "I deserted my home my race my throne for Goku so we could be a family and he isn't even here for Gohan and the baby we tried so hard to have so do not tell me you know how I feel!" Midori-ko shook
