This story begins with Goku training at Kami's look out to preparing to fight Piccolo Jr when a very curious girl comes to live at Kami's look out.

Midori-ko and Goku landed at the bottom of the Kami's look out after passing Korins sanctuary. Goku jumped off the nimbus and Midori-ko sunk through but was close enough to the ground that she landed on her feet.
" Are we really doing this?" Goku asks turning to her
" Getting married?" Midori-ko asks
" Yeah." Goku nods
" There isn't a doubt in my mind." Midori-ko held Goku's hand
" Mine either." He smiled
" You sure you're not getting cold feet?" Midori-ko asks
" My feet aren't cold." Goku looks down
" You're lucky you're pretty." Midori-ko teases

" What why?" Goku tilts his head
" Nothing." Midori-ko smiles and shakes her head "Come on Goku let's get married." Midori-ko smiles
" Yeah." Goku squeezes her hand. "We'll need somewhere to crash for the night."
" Mr Popo said there should be a motel close by." Midori-ko says walking with Goku
" Yeah." Goku digs in his gi pants pocket for his wallet "Ummm did you bring money?" He asks looking at an empty wallet
" Don't stress I have more than enough." Midori-ko smiles even without marrying Kaname, Midori-ko's mother left her the Ruka family fortune. Which was more than enough for them to live off of for years.
" Okay."
They finally came across the same small town they went on their first date to the 50s diner. The town was asleep but at the edge of the town was the motel. The only light was the half lit up sign and a street light. Vacancy flashed in the office window giving Midori-ko and Goku the green light to get a safe room for the night.

"Is this okay?" Goku asks as they walked into the motel room
It was small and faintly smelt musty but the room was cozy enough With one bed big enough for the both of them and a sitting table with a TV in the middle.
