Goku and The Red Dragon

It's because he looks like Kakarrot isn't it

"Amazing that you made it this far." Ginyu's voice came out of Goku's body as the wounded purple horned alien hobbled over as it landed
" I should have wounded that body more." Ginyu chuckles

" Krillin! Gohan! That's not me! Ginyu stole my body!" Goku's voice came out of the ugly purple horned alien "Just whale on him!" Goku shouted "With Midori-ko's help there's no way you can lose."

" Goku?" Midori-ko looked away from Ginyu and at the body her husband was in.

" I'm sorry Midori-ko I...I hope this doesn't change things." He looks down

" Don't worry Goku whatever it takes we'll get you your body back." Midori-ko tells Goku.

They all took turns beating on Goku's body as the real Goku tried to just ignore the pain he was in.
Midori-ko still held back this was different than sparring with Goku. He would match her strikes and now with Goku's strength of apparently over 180,000 he could easily keep up with Midori-ko.
This being inside her husband was clearly no match for herself, Krillin and Gohan.

"Tsk haven't you fools done away with Ginyu yet?!" Vegeta scoffs "It's because he looks like Kakarrot isn't it?" Vegeta rolls his eyes "Fine! I'll take care of him!"

It was hard to watch Vegeta beat the living crap out of Goku's body but luck was on their side.

Ginyu was dumb enough to try and steal Vegeta's body.
Goku used the last of Ginyu's original body's strength to throw himself in the way gaining control of his natural body again

"Heh heh heh I guess I'm back." Goku whinces

" Goku!" Midori-ko rushed to his side "Sweetheart I'm sorry I let Vegeta...""No it was a good choice you were holding back." Goku smiles at Midori-ko

" I'm sorry." Midori-ko held her claw over Goku to absorb some of the pain when Ginyu distracted them all.

"Argh!! This time Vegeta's mine!' Ginyu snarled "Heh heh that was poor planning on your part now you can't interfere."

" Damn it I can't move it's all over he's going to get Vegeta's body." Goku complains "Ow." Goku whinces as a abnormally large frog jumps on Goku's stomach then next to him
" That's it!" Goku managed to grab the frog and saved Vegeta from getting his body stolen.

Midori-ko laughs seeing what Goku managed to do.

" I did it." Goku smiles

" Come here big stuff." Midori-ko scooped Goku up into the safety of her claw as she resumed absorbing Goku's pain.

'Midori-ko don't fuss over me.' Goku told her in his mind

'That is not going to happen I may not be able to heal you but I can ease your pain.' Midori-ko says

'What would I do without you?' Goku rested his head into her claw

'Hopefully you'll never know.' Midori-ko says

" Goku are you okay?"
" Dad hang in there."

" Vegeta you really beat me up good." Goku smiles at Vegeta

"The medical machines in this room are old models but they'll still heal Kakarrot all the same." Vegeta tells them

Midori-ko watched as Goku floated in the healing tank looking more relaxed than he had in a long time.
She had since reverted back to her human form staying close to Goku making sure Vegeta wasn't up to no good.

'Hey this feels really good.' Goku says looking half asleep

'Rest sweetheart.' Midori-ko smiles  putting a hand on the healing tank watching Goku pass out as Vegeta blabbered on with Krillin and Gohan about battle armor.

" Mom look." Gohan walks up wearing battle armor

" Well look at you my little warrior." Midori-ko smiles

" They're super comfy." Gohan smiles

" Thank you Vegeta." Midori-ko nods to Vegeta who was watching Gohan and her.

" Uh huh." Vegeta scoffs

"What about my mom?" Gohan walks up to Vegeta

" What about your mother?" Vegeta asks

" Doesn't she get battle armor?" Gohan asks

" Gohan it's fine." Midori-ko spoke up "Don't worry about it I'm staying here with your father anyway."

" Works for me." Vegeta says
