Later that night after dinner Midori-ko sat on the couch watching TV.
" Do you want some ice cream?" Goku asks from the kitchen
" Uh sure."
A moment later Goku walks over with two bowls of mint chocolate chip ice cream.
"Here you go." Goku smiles handing her the bowl of ice cream "Do you still like mint chocolate chip?"
For a moment Midori-ko was taken back to her first night in Earth Realm. 'I hope you like mint chocolate chip.'

If she could go back and tell herself she was going to marry the cute boy she'd just meet Midori-ko knew she'd never believe it even then.
" You bet I do." Midori-ko smiles "It's my favorite."
" Yeah?" Goku asks sitting next to her
"It was the first time we shared ice cream together." Midori-ko smiles at the bowl of ice cream
" And the first time you had ice cream." Goku mentions
" Yeah you're right." Midori-ko smiles
" We shared a lot of firsts up on the lookout." Goku reached for her hand
" You were my first everything." Midori-ko squeezes Goku's hand
" It's crazy huh?" Goku looks down for a moment then back at Midori-ko "You weren't even supposed to get involved with me and here we are years later sitting in our living room." Goku smiles
" I wouldn't have it any other way." Midori-ko smiles at Goku
" Yeah."
" What's got you all sentimental all the sudden?" Midori-ko asks starting on her ice cream
" Just been thinking a lot about stuff." Goku shares
" I guess so." Midori-ko smiles at the ring Goku had given her
" Whatcha watching?" Goku asks changing the subject
"Sex in the city." Midori-ko nods to the TV
" Oh fun." He smirks
