After 5 hours and 35 minutes of labor a 8lb 8 ounce baby boy with a full head of black hair was born.
" Here's your baby Midori-ko." The nurse handed her a small whining bundle
" Oh my goodness." Midori-ko couldn't get her son in her arms fast enough, once in her arms the baby stopped crying and curled into her. Midori-ko was filled with this overwhelming warmth and need to always protect this little miracle.
"Hi there you're bigger than I thought you'd be." Goku laughs trying not to cry looking at his son
" Goku." Midori-ko looks up at him crying "He looks just like you."
" Midori-ko baby don't cry you're going to make me cry." Goku smiles wiping his eyes
" I'm sorry but I'm just so happy." Midori-ko blubbers holding her son close. She couldn't come up with the words but not in her wildest dreams did Midori-ko imagine she'd be married to Goku and give him a son.

After their stay at the hospital Midori-ko and Goku brought their baby boy home. They'd talked about several names but nothing seemed right.
" We have 6 weeks to come up with a name for his birth certificate." Midori-ko walks into the baby's room as Goku was smiling at their baby laying in his crib as he had a death grip on his dad's finger.

" Yeah I know that nurse kept badgering us." Goku says before picking up their son "Don't puke on me again, buddy." Goku pats his back
" Hmmm no that'd be a cop out." Midori-ko smiles looking at her husband and son.
" Huh?"
" Goku Jr.""Ugh no." Goku laughs "Corny."
" Yeah no kidding." Midori-ko says "Our baby needs a name." Midori-ko pushed some of the full black hair on her son's forehead to the side
" It wasn't hard for my grandpa he said my name just came to him when he saw me." Goku shares
" Yeah my parents had my name already picked out." Midori-ko remembers looking at her son
" Gohan."
" What?" Midori-ko asks
" Let's name him Gohan after my grandpa." Goku smiles holding up his son
