Your POV

The wind in my ear vibrates as a shinai flows dangerously close to my face. Dodging to the left sweat pours down my forehead, threatening to slide into my eyes and temporarily blind me of the five women in front of me. Their expressions are hidden behind the helmet they wore, but their body language told me enough of what their expression might be. Frustration.

Labored breathing and unsteady arm movements suggested they were tired. They pressed onto the front of their toes, a sure tell sign that they were about to attack again. Some shifted their weight to either the left or right, meaning they would split up and try to hit me from multiple directions. All this information flew throughout my mind as I thought how to counter them all.

Suddenly, they lunged at me. Bamboo swords flooded my vision in all directions as a flurry of attacks rained upon me, but the first strike was blocked with the broad side of my shinai and redirected into the attacker closest to her. All three of our blades locked together, stopping two of their attacks. They stumbled into one another, and with a slight shove from my own shinai, they got sent to the ground.

"Wrist!" I shout for my targeted location before sending a swift slap to both their wrists with my sword, putting them out of action.

But I had no time to rest as an attack came from my right side, forcing me to take a large jump backwards. My attacker's determination didn't end there as she lunged after me, swiping her sword in a multitude of directions. The sound of our feet thumping against the wooden floor filled my ear drums as I evaded as best as I could. In a sudden burst of strength she went for an overhead strike. Placing my shinai above my head, I stop the initial impact before turning my blade sideways.

With her downward momentum, her blade slid harmlessly down my own before hitting the ground. A loud smack echoed as contact was made with the ground.

"Side!" I shout once more before lifting my Shinai upwards, and landing my attack on her left rib cage.

Her body fell to the ground with a heavy thud as I turned to look down my final two opponents.

"No surprise that the two of you are the only ones left." Even without seeing their faces, I can tell at a glance that Katase and Murayama are the last two of this group of five.

Not wanting to engage in banter with me, the two take their stance. My lungs expand as I take a deep breath to steady my movements. Gripping the base of my shinai I run towards the two, not giving them the chance to prepare their own attack.

A downward strike placed in between the two of them splits the duo up, allowing me to focus on one of them. I could hear an annoyed grunt coming from under their helmet as my swings cut through the air. Soon I made contact, but only with their own bamboo sword.

"Katase, now!" Murayama shouted as we locked shinai's, only for me to feel a presence run up behind me. A shadow loomed over me as Katase was about to bring her sword down on the back of my head.

Seeing no other option, I decided to stop pretending to struggle and make use of my improved Strength stat. Our deadlock quickly turned into a one sided offense as Murayama got pushed to the side, and once free, I positioned my blade over my shoulder to block Katase's strike. A loud clang echoed in my ear from the sound of wood clashing on wood, but it was worth it.

"Are you serious?!" The two exclaimed loudly in shock from my seemingly superhuman feats. I can't really blame them either, but this was a two on one match.

I could feel the strength Katase still had on her sword from her attack, and redirected it in front of me, causing her to trip forward and break her posture. In a panic she turned around, but it was too late.
