Issei Hyoudou POV
"How many does this make now...?"
"Approximately twenty, sir..." One of the servants behind me answered my question as I stared at not only a massive pile of letters and invites to dates, but large presents and objects that could barely fit inside someone's room. We were in the third basement of my house, surrounded by all these things that have recently found their way to my front door. They were all sent by the same person.
Diodora.
I sighed heavily while covering my face, lamenting my inability to keep those two from meeting. Somehow, while I was off fighting the Chaos Brigade with Rias and Koneko, Diodora had caught a glimpse of Asia while she was at the party in the underworld. He knows of her location now, that being my home, and has been sending these things nonstop ever since we came back from the underworld.
"Keep an eye out for these kinds of presents in the future. Any note, letter, invite or present from Diodora is to be delivered directly to me. Neither my parents, nor Asia need to know of them."
"Of course, sir." In my right hand, I conjured a ball of blue flame that grew in size with each passing second.
Without a second thought, I tossed it into the middle of all his "gifts" that he sent in an attempt to court Asia. The pile instantly lit up in a blaze of glory as I turned around.
"I'll leave the clean up to you all." With another bow, the maids and butlers began dealing with the mess I left behind while I rode the elevator up in order to get ready for school.
I can't let Diodora get close to Asia, no matter the cost. I refuse to let her go through the trauma of learning the only reason she was kicked out from the church was because of him and his sick and twisted nun fetish.
...
Asia and I had finally been dropped off at school. Summer vacation was over, and everyone had returned to Kuoh Academy. The ceremony welcoming us into the second semester of our school year ended without issue, and we all returned to class without much fuss.
Or, at least everyone else did...
"Check out Issei! He changed his hairstyle!"
"Oh, gosh, I haven't seen him since summer break started, but he looks even more attractive than I remember. He might even be close to Kiba in terms of looks now!" The majority of my female classmates seemed to be enjoying the new look I adopted for myself over the summer.
As a matter of fact, I noticed a lot of my fellow students ended up changing their hairstyles, or adding more makeup than normal after the break. The same thing happened last year actually, back when I was a first year student. I guess Kiryuu wasn't kidding when she said that summer was the year people decided to let lose and change themselves.
After finishing my walk, I entered the classroom, and I felt the eyes of everyone land on me. I had been getting stares like this since I entered the building.
"Hey, Motohama! You won't believe it!' Suddenly, Matsuda burst into the room while calling for his best and only friend no doubt.
"You were right, Yoshida in the class next door did do it over the summer! And with a third-year girl no less!"
"Damn him!" Motohama, the one with the glasses, cried out in pain as tears formed underneath his spectacles.
"Not only that, but rumor has it that Ouba in our class did it with a first-year too!"
"Are you shitting me?!" Ah, how I missed the silence already.
Ever since these two came back from summer vacation, all they've been doing is "gathering intel" on the other male students who apparently lost their virginity over the summer...why you would want to know another dude's count is beyond me.
