Finally realizing the danger they're in, the human magicians begin to attack. In a flurry, their spells shoot at once before converging on me. I wait until I can feel the edge of my armor heat up before erecting numerous small magical barriers around my body to block their attacks.

I barely flinch as my shields manifest, defend against the attack and vanish. Limiting my defensive spells to as small an area as possible, I bolster its protective capabilities. At the same time, I erect the barriers in the fraction of a second, hardly wasting my generous reserves of mana.

Their attacks feel endless as the numerous people here fire them off without reserve.

"How worthless." Raising my left palm, blue lightning condenses into a sphere. Its power grows before I wave my hand and release the attack. Volts of energy jump out, obliterating anybody in the way before reducing them to ash.

In a flash, over a hundred magicians fall, and I've barely moved from my spot.

"Now, onto the next few." The gate above the school grounds releases a seemingly endless supply of gnats for me to swat down. Their screams don't last longer than a second as I speed through the air. Bodies are torn apart instantly just from my wings alone.

But, while I was busy swatting down my enemies, a deafening explosion went off in the distance and grabbed my attention.

Turning back to the building I just flew out of, I noticed a gaping hole inside of it. Amidst the flame and dust, I saw a lone woman standing tall with a smirk on her face and a staff in her hand.

Once the destruction died down and the smoke cleared out, I saw the leaders all with an arm raised up, erecting a defensive barrier together.

"For the leaders of the Three Great Powers to put up a defensive barrier together...how disgraceful!" Thanks to my enhanced hearing, I'm able to clearly hear their conversation without issue. Her tone is haughty and arrogant as she leans her head back slightly to laugh and mock the rest.

"What are you trying to do, Katerea?" Sirzechs is the first to ask her reasoning for attacking them, and the woman replies instantly.

"My thinking is just the complete opposite of those of you at this meeting. If God and the Devil King aren't around, then there should be a revolution in this world."

"Katerea-chan, don't do this! Why are you attacking us like that?" Finding this slightly more interesting than swatting down flies, I stop my assault and watch them from afar.

Katerea's face contorts into a grimace at hearing Serafall's words before responding, vitriol and hatred evident in her voice.

"Serafall...you sure are slacking off after stealing the title of Leviathan from me. But don't worry, I'll be sure to kill you today and reclaim the name of Devil King Leviathan!"

"Good grief. And here I was thinking that we got caught up in a devil's coup d'état."

"It sounds like you desire to take not just your title, but the whole world with it." Azazel and Michael come to realize this woman's true desires as she brandishes her staff.

"Yes, Michael. A world where God and the Devil King's death is glossed over. We will take this decayed world and rebuild and reform it ourselves." With her grand speech having just finished, Azazel throws himself into a fit of laughter, clearly ticking her off.

"Azazel, what do you find funny about that?"

"Decayed? Reform? How cliched... The first villain to die usually spits crap like that out their ass first."

"Are you mocking me?!" Her demonic aura flares up as Azazel steps forward with a confident stride.

"It's alright if I let loose a little bit, right? Sirzechs? Michael?"
